If a birth chart reveals our former lives’ deeds, may it also reveal information about life beyond death? And, if these two points are false, what value is there in the “free will” that people talk about? We spoke with Dr. Vinay Bajrangi, a leading Indian Vedic astrologer who has been revealing many Vedic astrological marvels to help educate the general public about the astrological postulates propagated by the Saptrishis and is also actively engaged in removing the donnish and conservative veil from astrology. Dr. Vinay Bajrangi (Vinay Bajrangi): Yes! Your birth chart, as an imprint of your former lives, also predicts your future lives. Since the beginning, I’ve been presenting astrology’s theology. The arrangement of planets in one’s horoscope is not arbitrary, but has been methodically apportioned by the Almighty after careful examination of the deeds done by him/her in previous births (s). Now, the planets assigned to you may have some excellent Yogas (combinations) and some unfavorable Yogas (combinations). The good pairings are the blessings of previous births, while the unfavorable combinations are the curses of prior births. The native is thrown into a roller coaster of good and bad experiences as a result of these excellent and negative combinations.
However, one has some degree of free will, which is determined by Jupiter’s position in the horoscope.

Question: What happens to a person’s birth chart after they pass away? Should a deceased person’s horoscope be read?
DVB: See, the spirit never dies; it is on a journey, changing bodies after bodies. Similarly, the horoscope lives until the soul’s final salvation. However, because we associate a horoscope with a living body, reading the soul’s path through the horoscope of a deceased person may not be reasonable. As a result, the horoscope of a deceased person is not visible.
However, some Doshas run in families and have a negative impact on all family members. It is sometimes important to read the horoscopes of the elderly who have passed away in order to comprehend and recommend a powerful restorative measure. However, in such instances, the astrologer should adhere to Vedic Astrology’s highest ethical standards and avoid scaring or playing with the emotions of the family members left behind.
DVB: Without a doubt, absolutely! Take, for example, Lord Rama’s family. Lord Rama was the sixty-fourth generation in the family lineage and was an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Iksvaku, Manu’s son, was Lord Ram’s sixtieth great grandfather. To assist Lord Rama’s birth in the family lineage, he was to take seven births in the same family.
This is demonstrated by drawing Iksvaku’s horoscope and calculating his births (soul’s journey) till its final salvation.
Is it possible to count all of a soul’s births till its final salvation?
DVB: Sure, why not? But, please understand that astrology for the afterlife is not the same as conventional astrological predictions and analyses. It’s also a task that won’t be completed in a single day or two. Even a great astrologer may need weeks or months to come up with a solution. The amount of time it takes is determined by the number of births the soul will experience before reaching its final resting place. The greater the number of births, the more time an astrologer must devote to determining the quality and purpose of each future existence.
Drawing the soul’s path to its final resting place in ‘Baikuntha’ explains the efforts it made along the way and the achievements it accomplished in the upliftment of humans and other races.
Question: If fate is predetermined, how can free will influence the outcome?
DVB: One is born with pending karmas, or the karma that one must complete within this lifetime. The fate is ruled by the ninth house. Saturn’s transit determines fate, but Jupiter’s transit determines free will. If the transiting Jupiter is in trines to the natal Saturn, we can use our free will to our advantage, i.e., we can get our wish.
We must accept what fate wants from us if transiting Saturn is in trine to natal Jupiter. Normally, Saturn’s happenings are predetermined, but Jupiter’s events are the consequence of his own actions. The amount of free will accessible in the horoscope can be determined by Jupiter’s position in the horoscope, and the ease with which it can be used to control fate can be determined by its link with Saturn’s natal position.
If Jupiter and Saturn are in the 6/8 (Shadakshaka) position in a horoscope, it will be difficult to exercise free will, even when Jupiter is transiting through Saturn’s natal position. As a result, making good use of your Jupiter can help you shape fate to your benefit to a significant extent. As a result, everything is determined by the planets’ natal positions in a horoscope. The more difficult the placement of planets in horoscopes, the more births are required to achieve the moment of freedom for the soul.
Question: Can astrology assist us improve our future lives in addition to what is written in our horoscope?
DVB: In a horoscope, several obstructers work together to delay any results. The lord of the eleventh house is the principal obstructor for the moving sign, the lord of the ninth house for the fixed sign, and the lord of the seventh house for the dual sign. In any horoscope, appeasing this obstructor can be the most effective corrective method for enhancing free-will use. The corrective procedures are more than just Pujas, donations, or mantra recitation; they are a powerful infusion of karmic correction. Controlling the negative character created in oneself as a result of that obstructer planet is the goal of this karma rectification.
It may be difficult to recognize the negative character that one has as a result of that obstructer planet, but once it is recognized, suitable care can be made to correct it.
