It’s ideal to use the lines of helpful planets like the sun, Venus, and Jupiter while using astrocartography. Mercury is neutral. The moon offers a sense of comfort and warmth.

In astrology, how do you calculate relocation?
Simply calculate the time you were born in your new location to create your new moved chart.
For example, if you were born at 3.15 p.m. in London on March 22, 1990 and are moving to New York, you must account for an 8-hour time difference.
This timeanddate meeting planner tool, which allows you to enter cities and determine the proper time, is a useful tool.

What is the best way to interpret astrocartography?
You’ll feel the orb of influence of a planetary line up to 400 miles even if you’re not directly on it. The farther you walk away from the planetary line, the more energy lessons you will receive.
There are additionally points that target a specific spot on your astrocartography map when longitudinal and latitudinal lines cross, as well as crossover sites when longitudinal and latitudinal lines intersect. When planetary lines come close together or cross directly, they form an entity.
When many lines are combined, a richer tale is told. I’ve been studying astrology and astrocartography for 12 years and now offer astrogeography readings tailored to your specific requirements and interests, as well as a deeper look into your unique soul’s history in the world. More information regarding my services can be found here, but let’s get back to deciphering your map!
Is astrology affected by where you live?
You won’t transform into a happy-go-lucky Libra just because you go to, say, Maryland. When you travel, the planets and signs in your horoscope don’t change, but the “houses” they’re in do. The Zodiac is a wheel with 12 “houses,” each of which represents a different aspect of your life: sex and dating, friendships and community, career and finances, health and daily routines, and so on. (A complete list can be found here.)
You can carefully place specific heavenly bodies into certain dwellings when you migrate to better those aspects of your life. So, if you’re wanting to advance in a specific area of your life, such as your job which is to say, a specific house, such as the 10th Angel will help you figure out which locales in which time zones will provide you with “gravy for the biscuits” according to astrological mandates. You can try out several places to observe how they treat you, how people perceive you, and what aspects of your personality they tease out or shore up.
Is it true that astrology is influenced by one’s geographical location?
You won’t transform into a happy-go-lucky Libra just because you relocate to Maryland. When you travel, the planets and signs in your horoscope do not change, but the “houses” in which they are situated do. The Zodiac is a wheel with 12 “houses,” each of which represents a different aspect of your life: sex and dating, friendships and community, work and finances, health and daily routines, and so on. (You can see the entire list here.)
When you move, you can strategically place heavenly bodies in specific residences to help you enhance specific aspects of your life. So, if you’re wanting to improve a specific aspect of your life, like as your work which is to say, a specific house, such as the 10th Angel can help you figure out which locales in which time zones will provide you “gravy for the biscuits” according to astrology’s dictates. You can try out other places to see how they treat you, how you’ll be seen there, and what aspects of your personality it will elicit or strengthen.
Is there such a thing as astrocartography?
So you can’t modify your *true* birth chart, or as astrologer Angel Eyedealism of Angel Eye Astrology (yeah, her name is hilarious) refers to it, your natal chart “astrological chromosomes However, you can use astrocartography to realign that wow-I’m-bad-at-adulting aspect of yourself. This is a fancy name for a mapping technique used in “The process of imagining what your life would be like if you lived somewhere else is known as relocation astrology. Think of it like a Zillow spiral, but with a better vibe.
True astrocartography is incredibly sophisticated, but the point is that it scatters your birth-chart data all across the world in order to replicate images of the sky in various locations where you might have been born. The new hypothetical birth charts created as a result of this may show you where the planets would land in each of your 12 houses, and what that would mean for your relationships, profession, and virtually everything. Remember how I said this was incredibly difficult? Yeah.
In astrology, do the Houses move?
Once we’ve established how each planet and sign interact, we can look to the Houses to see where that energy is manifesting. Is Venus-Scorpio in the Second House of Material Objects, making a person more attracted to financially secure partners? Or is Venus-Scorpio in the Ninth House of Travel, indicating a preference for long-distance relationships? The planets in the Houses reveal the breadth of our experience as well as the subtleties of our personality.
The planets in the sky are constantly moving through our several Houses, despite the fact that our natal planets in the birth chart stay immovable. Each planet has its own orbit, but we travel through a complete solar cycle of all the Houses every year since we follow the sun’s 365-day cycle. To put it another way, everyone will be affected by the energy of each house at some point in their lives. Even if you aren’t a Cancer, because Cancer rules the Fourth House of Home and Family, these aspects of your life will demand your attention at some point.
What is the best way to use a relocation chart?
- If you don’t already have one, get your natal chart, which is based on the date, time, and location of your birth.
- Then, substitute your birthplace with the new location you want to visit, but keep the date, time, and time zone the same.
- The resulting chart is your new location chart. The planets (including the Moon) will stay at their current degrees, but the angles and houses will shift. The Midheaven degree rises as you move east (about 1 per degreeof longitude moved). It lessens as you move west. Depending on the new latitude and longitude, the Ascendant degree changes at a variable rate.
Why Relocate Your Chart?
Many astrologers believe that the relocated horoscope functions similarly to a secondary natal chart, responding to transits and progressions in the same manner that the birth chart does. The relocated graphic depicts how the sky looked at the time of your birth, not from where you were born, but from somewhere else on the planet.
Here’s a well-known example of chart relocation. President John F. Kennedy was born with Saturn within one degree of his Midheaven in Massachusetts (see chart1). When his chart is moved to Dallas, Texas, where he was slain, the Midheaven shifts from the 28th to the 4th degree of Cancer (see chart 2), putting Pluto at the Midheaven.
The Pluto-Midheavenline (PLMH) runs around the Dallas metropolitan area, and the Saturn-Midheaven line (SAMH) runs through New England, according to JFK’s Astrolocalitymap.
Because an Astrolocality map does not identify which signs are on which house cusps or what aspects planets create to the new angles of the chart, it is still necessary to look at the actualrelocated horoscope. With just a 100-mile move, the rulerships of the houses can change. If you do decide to migrate, pay close attention to planet transits over the relocated chart’s Ascendant and Midheaven.

What does the Sun in the 12th House signify?
The first house in Vedic astrology is the first house, while the 12th house is the 12th house. In Vedic astrology, the first house denotes the beginning and birth, while the 12th house marks the conclusion of the lifetime. The 12th house represents solitude and liberation. It’s the detachment house. When the Sun is in the 12th house, the native is likely to be more thoughtful and have a strong connection to the higher planes of consciousness. He or she is likely to be spiritual in nature.
In astrocartography, what is the Venus line?
You’ll get a map of the world with tons of crisscrossing colored lines once you’ve run your own unique map using your birth date, time, and location. Each of these lines is associated with a different celestial body, and when you’re near one, it’s supposed to bring out specific attributes in you.
According to Dubinet, the easiest approach to make sense of it all is to consider what you’re hoping to bring into your lifea summer fling, financial success, creative inspiration, and so on. Then, using your Astrocartography chart, determine which planet your wish belongs to and locate that planetary line. The energy of the planet’s respective planet is considered to be contained in places on or near that line. In Dubinet’s words, here’s a breakdown of each planet’s energy:
- Line of the sun: “The sun makes it easier to be noticed. It instills a healthy dose of ego in you. It’s what I refer to as your “celebrity and reputation.”
- Line of the Moon: “The moon is a symbol for the divine feminine. It’s about taking care of yourself and others.”
- Line of Mercury: “Mercury is the communicator’s planet. Mercury line locations are ideal for writing a book or rekindling an interest in anything.”
- “Venus is the planet of love, beauty, and relationships, as well as design and elegance,” says the Venus collection.
- Line from Mars: “Mars is the planet of action. It’s all about the passion. Go somewhere on a Mars line if you want to feel a lot of macho energy.”
- Line of Jupiter: “Jupiter is the planet of abundance, expansion, and joy. It’s a really fantastic one.”
- Line of Saturn: “Places on your Saturn lines might age with time and entail too much responsibility. However, they are excellent if you want to bring discipline and order into your life, such as when deciding where to attend college.”
- Line of Uranus: “Uranus is the adolescent rebel to Saturn’s elderly man. It manifests itself in the form of surprises and shifts.”
- Line of Neptune: “On a Neptune line, you can’t perceive things clearly since Neptune is so spiritual. You probably wouldn’t want to live there.”
- “Go to a Pluto line if you need to shake things up; it’ll produce devastation as well as rebirth and growth.”
- Line of Chiron: “Chiron is a divine healer. It provides some insight into our life’s purpose and how we’re intended to aid others.”
- Nodes in the north and south: “These are your karma and destiny.
- It feels familiar, as if you’ve been there before.”
Some of your lines may overlap or cross one other, such as my Jupiter and Pluto lines, which are directly on top of each other. According to Dubinet, this simply means that the energy of both are enhanced in the regions where they intersect.
