Which astrological method is most reliable?
Although the houses are measured out in 30 degree increments beginning from the degree of the ascendant, the equal house method divides the ecliptic into twelve divisions of 30 degrees. The first house starts with the ascendant, which serves as the first house’s “cusp,” or starting point. The second house then starts exactly 30 degrees later in the zodiacal sequence from the second house, and so on. In comparison to the Placidean and other quadrant house systems, supporters of the equal house system assert that it is more precise and less distorted at higher latitudes (particularly above 60 degrees).
Which website has the best birth chart information?
In addition to providing birth charts of a professional caliber, Astrodienst is a fantastic online resource for astrologers of all levels. For the fundamental birth chart, search for Chart Drawing/Ascendant. Every time you access the Astrodienst site from a computer at home, your birth information is recorded and readily available. Due to the fact that the angular houses are the most potent positions in the chart (Lilly states that “Planets in angles do more forcibly show their effects”), succedent houses, which are less potent than the angular but more potent than the cadent houses, also have the quality of belonging to the angular houses, much like a representative or underling of a powerful person.
The second house, for instance, which follows the first house of the body and personality, tends to represent the things that belong to the person in this way.
Similar to the seventh house of the partner, spouse, or “other person,” the eighth house, which comes after it, depicts the partner’s or other person’s possessions.
Succedent houses as a whole possess a steady, unwavering nature that is a result of their middle location in each chart quadrant.
On the whole, these are productive houses where things typically take root and flourish, such as possessions (the second house) or children (the eighth house), even though at least one succedent house has a decidedly malefic (or unfortunate) connotation (the eighth house) and one is rather weak (the second) (the fifth house.)
What astrological component is the most potent?
An angle of roughly () 010 degrees is referred to as a conjunction (abbreviated as “Con”). An orb of 10 is typically seen as a Conjunction. Some astrologers think an orb of no more than eight is appropriate if the Sun or Moon are not present.
A significant factor in a horoscope chart is a conjunction. Because they mutually amplify each other’s impacts, they are considered to be the most potent characteristics.
Depending on the planets involved, a Conjunction could be advantageous or harmful. Highly favorable Conjunctions can include any of the three possible combinations as well as the Sun, Venus, and/or Jupiter. Highly unfavorable Conjunctions can occur with the Moon, Mars, Saturn, or any of the other three possible pairings.
A 3-way favorable Conjunction involving the Sun, Venus, and Jupiter occurred exceptionally on November 910 of 1970. On March 10 of the same year, the Moon, Mars, and Saturn formed a harmful triple conjunction.
If one of the two planets in a conjunction is already feeling the strain of one or more hard aspects with one or more other planets, the addition of a conjunction will only heighten the tension of those hard aspects.
A planet’s conjunction with the Sun is particularly powerful if it occurs within 17 minutes of arc, or just at a distance of around 0.28. The planet is supposedly Cazimi, an old astrological name that means “in the heart” (of the Sun). For instance, “Venus Cazimi” indicates that Venus and the Sun are in conjunction with an orb smaller than 0.28.
The precise orb limit may vary depending on the planet in question if it is somewhat close to the Sun. It is allegedly combustible.
The Sun and Moon come together at the New Moon every month of the year.

Another reason why Vedic system is better than western system is that it uses the Dasa Predictive system. A planetary Dasa remains for 6 to 20 years depending on the planet concerned. Vedic astrology not only analyzes the situation but it also determines the result of karma, and gives a solution to lessen the negative effect of planets ruling your house. Thus, Vedic system is more accurate because it has remained intact since years and the foundation of Vedic system is the knowledge used in modern astronomy with regard to any astronomical phenomena occurring within the system. Vedic astrology considers precession and bases horoscope calculations on the revised ecliptic path. Western astrology, on the other hand, continues down the same old route that is more symbolic than astronomically precise.
How may one learn astrology the most effectively?
In this episode, Kelly Surtees, an astrologer, joins the program to discuss some advice on how to study astrology and ultimately become an astrologer.

Genethliacal Astrology, which also indicates nativity, is another name for natal astrology. It is an astrological system that makes the claim to illuminate a person’s character or life path.
