In Aquarius, there are also systems that are less prominent. WASP-6, a magnitude 12.4 type G8 star, has one exoplanet, WASP-6 b. The star has a mass of 0.888 solar masses and a radius of 0.87 solar radii and is 307 parsecs from Earth. The transit approach was used to discover WASP-6 b in 2008. It takes 3.36 days to orbit its parent star at a distance of 0.042 astronomical units (AU). It has a mass of 0.503 Jupiter masses but a radius of 1.224 Jupiter radii, which is proportionately greater. One planet, HD 206610 b, orbits HD 206610, a K0 star 194 parsecs from Earth. The host star is larger than the Sun, with a mass of 1.56 solar masses and a diameter of 6.1 solar radii, making it more massive and larger than the Sun. The planet, which has a mass of 2.2 Jupiter masses, was identified in 2010 using the radial velocity method. At a distance of 1.68 AU, it circles once every 610 days. WASP-47 b, which orbits its sun every 4.15 days and is only 0.052 AU from it, is far closer to it than yellow dwarf (G9V) WASP-47. WASP-47 has a radius of 1.15 sun radii and a mass of 1.08 solar masses, making it a near companion to the Sun. WASP-47 b, like WASP-6 b, was discovered in 2011 using the transit method. With a mass of 1.14 Jupiter masses and a radius of 1.15 Jupiter masses, it is slightly larger than Jupiter.
In Aquarius, there are several additional single-planet systems. One known planet orbits HD 210277 b, a magnitude 6.63 yellow star located 21.29 parsecs from Earth. The planet Jupiter, with a mass of 1.23 Jupiter, orbits the Sun at about the same distance as Earth1.1 AUthough its orbital period is substantially longer, at around 442 days. HD 210277 b was discovered in 1998, a year before most of the other planets in Aquarius, using the radial velocity method. Beyond their similar spectral classes, the star it circles has a radius of 1.1 solar radii and a mass of 1.09 solar masses, making it similar to the Sun. At a distance of 1.22 AU, HD 212771 b, a bigger planet with a mass of 2.3 Jupiter, orbits the host star HD 212771. The star itself is a G8IV (yellow subgiant) star situated 131 parsecs from Earth and is scarcely visible to the naked eye at magnitude 7.6. With a radius of 5 solar radii, it is much less dense than the Sun, but having a mass of 1.15 solar masses. Like several other exoplanets in the constellation, its lone planet was identified in 2010 using the radial velocity method.
The Gliese 876 and HD 215152 systems were the only known multiple-planet systems inside the boundaries of Aquarius as of 2013. The former has a lot of planets, whereas the latter has only two and is 21.5 parsecs away from its host star. The planets HD 215152 b and HD 215152 c circle their K0-type, magnitude 8.13 sun in the HD 215152 system. The two small planets orbit quite close to their home star and were identified in 2011 using the radial velocity approach. HD 215152 c is the largest of the two, weighing 0.0097 Jupiter masses (still much more than the Earth, which weighs 0.00315 Jupiter masses); its smaller twin, at 0.0087 Jupiter masses, is barely smaller.
