When Lucy fights Sherry, Aquarius is summoned once more to cope with Sherry’s Doll Attack. Sherry recognizes Aquarius as a powerful Spirit, so she takes command of him. Aquarius, on the other hand, assaults Sherry and Lucy because she despises being dominated. Before departing, Aquarius criticizes Lucy’s personality, alleging that it is the reason she hasn’t gotten a boyfriend like her and would never receive one.
Is Lucy endowed with Aquarius abilities?
Lucy uses Celestial Spirit Magic (Seirei Mah), a sort of Spatial Magic that allows her to summon Celestial Spirits, magical entities who live in the Celestial Spirit World, using the Keys of their respective Gates. The Keys are engulfed in a warm, golden light upon calling a Spirit. Once Lucy has signed a contract with a Spirit, she will be able to summon that Spirit on specific days, and it will fight with her and perform various chores for her. Her Celestial Spirits have diverse levels of power, with some being more suited for certain duties than others that aren’t always combat-related.
Aquarius, for example, can use water to create powerful waves that may sweep away a large number of rivals at once, while Taurus possesses tremendous physical strength, making him a formidable melee fighter who can flank Lucy during combat and assault opponents on her behalf. Celestial Spirits, on the other hand, are sentient beings with personalities and traits who may act appropriately in battle, sometimes even defying Lucy’s orders and acting independently.
Celestial Spirit Mages have the chance to earn both highly rare Gold Keys and more common, store-bought Silver Keys, which open the gates of the “Ecliptic Zodiacs.” There are a lot of Silver Keys, but only 12 Gold Keys, each of which is associated with a different astrological sign. Lucy has 10 Gold Keys and 5 Silver Keys so far, a significant number of Keys for a single Celestial Spirit Mage. Lucy’s ability to conjure Spirits is restricted by her Magic Power reserves; the more Spirits she summons and the more powerful they are, the more Magic Power she depletes. She has proven the capacity to summon Celestial Spirits by just calling on them rather than utilizing their keys, and she can use five of her Ecliptic Zodiac Keys in a single day. Despite not having her Celestial Spirit Gate Key, Lucy is able to call Aquarius from a body of water when in Elentear.
Unison Raid (() Yunizon Reido): This ability allows two Mages to combine their Magic into a single, more powerful attack. This appears to be a tremendously advanced sort of magic, as many priests have spent their entire lives attempting to master it without success. Lucy later achieved Unison Raid with Wendy Marvell, merging Scorpio’s Sand Buster and Wendy’s Sky Dragon’s Roar into a single, enormous vortex, considerably enhancing Natsu Dragneel’s speed and allowing him to strike Hades with his Fire Dragon’s Sword Horn, thanks to Gray Fullbuster’s Ice-Make: Hammer.
- After Aquarius was summoned and created a significant volume of water, Lucy and Juvia were able to combine their powers and create a powerful whirlpool of water called the Hydro Screw (() Haidoro Sukury).
- Tenry no Hk & Sando Basut (Sky Dragon’s Roar & Sand Buster): Lucy and Wendy combine Wendy’s Sky Dragon Slayer Magic and Scorpio’s Sand Magic to boost the destructive potency of both strikes.
Fairy Sphere (() Fear Sufia): Lucy is able to cast the Magic after following the guidelines in the book Mavis made for its recitation. She can form an ethereal ball with it and the strength of the other Fairy Tail members, which is one of the most unbreakable protection Magics available; even someone as powerful as Acnologia cannot break it.
Gottfried (Gottofurto): A legendary wizard who has been forgotten for a long time. The casters must kneel on the ground and hold hands while reciting the incantation to activate the Magic. While chanting, an aura will surround the casters, surge higher, and stars will gradually fill the heavens; as the caster cries out the spell’s name, the aura will transform into a beam, with the stars flashing brightly and swirling around the target. The spell, on the other hand, will cause anguish to the users. The magic was so strong that it shattered the Celestial Globe. Lucy worked together with Yukino and Hisui E. Fiore to cast the spell.
Cana’s Magic Cards (() Majikku Kdo): As a Holder Magic user, Lucy attempted to jail her targets with Cana’s Magic Cards.
- Card Conversion (Kdo Kan): Lucy imprisons people in a pocket dimension using Cana’s cards.
Enhanced Durability: Despite her frail appearance and her proclivity for avoiding combat, Lucy has proven to be quite tough: she was able to withstand a barrage of kicks from Kain Hikaru, an individual capable of breaking down trees and rocks with sheer physical force, without being incapacitated, and she was also able to withstand Kain attempting to crush her head with his massive arm while she was still unconscious. Later, during Team Natsu’s battle with Hades, she and Erza survived being blasted by one of his explosions.
Endurance: Lucy has proved to have a high level of physical stamina. She hasn’t displayed any signs of exhaustion when the Taurus and Aries gates were opened for a long time and then absorbed by Franmalth. Franmalth used Hades Formula 28 to severely hurt her, yet she was able to hold her own against Tartarus. Even after being injured by Jackal’s blasts and weary from having two gates open at the same time, she was able to open a third gate, which is a banned practice.
Lucy’s enhanced speed has allowed her to evade the majority of Lisanna’s strikes while in her feline form, which is noted for its fast movements and attacks.
Lucy has shown herself to be an extremely intelligent, logical, and perceptive Mage. Bora had placed a sleeping medicine into her wine, and she was able to figure it out without tasting it. Lucy also uses her intelligence to help herself and her comrades win conflicts by deceiving their opponents. By the year X792, Lucy had deduced from her notes and observations that Scarmiglione was concealing their full might, and she had accurately anticipated the conclusion of their conflict. Lucy is also the one who devised the plot to confine Acnologia inside Fairy Sphere by using a Dragon Slayer’s weakness.
Lucy has demonstrated the ability to feel magic to some level. Expert Whip Specialist: Despite her tendency to avoid fighting or have her Spirits fight for her, she is proficient with a whip, being able to grab opponents with it and wield it as a short-to-medium range weapon.
Lucy is an expert hand-to-hand combatant, however she is not as skilled as the other members of Team Natsu in this area. Furthermore, while Lucy never uses fists owing to her limited physical strength, she does have some kicking proficiency, as evidenced by her ability to send Reedus flying with a simple kick during the Phantom Lord arc, despite him being considerably larger than she is. Lucy uses armed and unarmed combat, as well as some of her Star Dress forms, to gain an advantage in battle after a one-year time jump.
