Chiron travels from sign to sign in around four years, though it spends seven to eight years in Aries and Pisces and only one to two years in Virgo and Libra. It moved into Aries on April 17, 2018, retrograded into Pisces on September 25, 2018, and then returned to the cardinal fire sign on February 18, 2019, where it will stay until June 19, 2026.

The Chiron return will compel you to do some soul searching between the ages of 49 and 51. If we’ve “done our work,” we might be asked to take on leadership roles that allow us to share our knowledge and use our healing abilities at this time. From 1968 through 1976, Chiron was in Aries.
Chiron in transit sets the tone for universal healing: What scars do we as a global community need to address together? Take a look at Chiron’s most recent journey, which began in April 2010, through spiritual, esoteric Piscesthe water sign that regulates healing and escape. From the popularity of juice bars and yoga studios to Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday and guided meditations with Deepak Chopra, the wellness movement is having a moment.

What does Chiron being in Aries mean?
If Chiron is in Aries, it indicates that the source of your suffering is a sense of worthlessness. You’re under a lot of pressure to be the best you can be.
This isn’t surprising, given that Aries is a fire sign controlled by Mars and the Zodiac’s first sign. Mars was the god of war in Greek mythology, and in astrology, it represents our drive, passion, energy, and ambition.
Despite the fact that all Chiron placements are painful and distressing, Astrology believes Chiron in Aries to be one of the most difficult and tough. This is because it is inextricably linked to who you are as a person. It’s the most personal and intimate wound you’ve ever experienced. This is an essential Chiron because, like Aries, it encourages you to be confident, fearless, bold, and daring in life.
The greatest way to understand Chiron in Aries is to look at those who were born under this sign. They are courageous, self-assured, and fearless, while Chiron in Aries is the polar opposite. Others with this Chiron placement frequently feel as if they are failing themselves or those near to them in life.
They experience excruciating suffering as a result of believing that something is wrong with them and that they are unworthy of love, success, or any other life achievement. Their self-esteem is poor, and they believe they are insufficient. That sensation can be draining and debilitating.
Is Chiron now in Aries?
Because Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and is related with childlike emotions, Chiron is currently in Aries, indicating that you are attempting to alleviate suffering from your childhood or youth.
What is the duration of Chiron Aries 2021?
Chiron enters Aries on July 15 and will remain there until December 19, 2021. Chiron is a “centaur,” which means it has characteristics of both asteroids and comets. In astrology, we examine the locations where we self-protect due to a traumatic experience when we look at Chiron, sometimes known as the “wounded healer.” We’re looking to Chiron as the world tries to figure out what trauma-informed practice looks like as we continue our lives after the lockdown.
During Chiron’s five-month retrograde, we’re encouraged to become more curious about our undefined/unexplored ideas and feelings in order to recover.
“Why do I self-protect in this way when presented with this behavior or situation?” Chiron Retrograde urges us to ask. “Does it really keep me safe?”
We can continue the process with an equally strong commitment to trauma recovery when Chiron moves direct in December. We are given the room and freedom to adopt various behaviors once we have a clear understanding of what occurred to us and why we react the way we do. We can reenter the world from a position of worthiness, confidence, and desire to be seen exactly as we are.
What is the duration of Chiron’s transit through Aries?
My “Chiron Return” is presently underway, which is when Chiron returns to its native position. This happens to everyone around the age of 50. My hope is that this story will shed light on some of the current issues that the public is grappling with.
I became interested in performing during my freshman year of high school. That year, I attended a theatre class and excelled. In the other students in the class, I felt I had discovered a like-minded tribe, and I enjoyed learning about theater.
The auditions for the spring play arrived. It was Harvey, one of my all-time favorite old films. I auditioned for a little speaking role, that of the nurse. I was cast in the role.
Meanwhile, I kept the audition a secret from my mother. Then I had to go home and tell her the good news on the day I got the part.
I was terrified. I had a feeling she didn’t like the fact that I was in drama class. She’d given me no motivation. In fact, anytime I brought it up, she appeared irritated. My parents were divorced, and my father did not live in the neighborhood. As a result, he was unavailable to offer assistance.
But, because I was too young to drive, I required rides to and from rehearsals if I was going to participate in the show. My mother said no when I told her about the performance and asked if she could drive me. She wasn’t even pleased that I had gotten the part. Rather, she was enraged that I had auditioned without her permission.
So the next day, I had to go to school and inform my theater teacher that I couldn’t play the part after all. I couldn’t tell her why because I was embarrassed. I knew my mother’s reaction was out of the ordinary for a parent, so I kept it hidden. I could see the teacher was unhappy with me because she assumed I was just ducking out. The part was then quickly given to another girl who had performed well in the tryouts.
Nonetheless, I continued to take theatrical classes throughout high school and college. I was in another play the next year, and this time I boldly asked a friend’s mother to drive me to and from rehearsals. (Once again, my mother rejected.) She didn’t even show up for the show).
During my adolescent years, I had to frequently seek the assistance of my friends’ mothers. They became my mentors, assisting me in realizing that I had reason to be confident in myself.
Today, when I think of that 14-year-old, I’m amazed that she had the bravery to accomplish anything at all. To be able to perform on stage. To attempt and fail. To seek assistance. I had the courage to undertake these things on my own, without the help of my parents.
My Chiron, on the other hand, is in Aries, which is a sign that has the courage to undertake anything. Especially when it comes to pursuing a passion.
Realizing that my parents’ emotional abandonment was what caused me to gain the fortitude to pursue my passions as an adult has been an important part of my recovery process. And, thanks to a lot of treatment, I’ve gained compassion for my parents. In this scenario, I used to see myself as the victim. But I now realize that my mother’s mental health troubles and my father’s post-Vietnam PTSD were to blame for their restrictions. Meanwhile, I was able to identify mentors and teachers that could assist me on my journey.
My healing path now at the “return” is about facing down the fears that continue to impede me, since my natal Chiron is in Aries. I’m going to have to take a lot of chances. But I know from my personal experience that I am capable of doing so. Taking chances, addressing concerns, and persevering is my medicine.
