You have plenty of methods to get your Geminis on the field and grant them their benefits thanks to cards like Supervise and Catalyst Field!
You’ve undoubtedly seen these cards at the Sneak Peek, but you didn’t get an opportunity to see what they can do because of the confined setting. You can send 1 Gemini monster from your Deck to the Graveyard to add 1 Gemini monster from your Deck to your hand with Chemicritter Carbo Crab. Carbo Crab places your Geminis exactly where you want them, allowing you to make both short- and long-term goals while also removing two cards from your Deck! It’s also a Level 2 Aqua-Type monster, thus it’s Toadally Awesome to have two of them.
By discarding 1 card, setting up Xyz Summons, or drawing one of the high-Level Poly-Chemicritters from the Graveyard, Chemicritter Hydron Hawk allows you to Special Summon a Gemini monster from your Graveyard in Defense Position. Chemicritter Oxy Ox allows you to Special Summon a Gemini Monster from your hand and adjust the Levels of your other monsters to match the Summoned monster. Oxy Ox is your true Xyz Summon setup, allowing you to effortlessly summon your huge Geminis and preparing you for Xyz Summons. The Poly-Chemicritters are two huge Geminis that may be summoned and supercharge your Gemini Monsters in amazing ways!
Poly-Chemicritter Dioxogre has 2800 ATK and 200 DEF, and its Gemini effect prevents Gemini monsters from negating their Normal Summons. This works to prevent you from using your Normal Summon to power up a Gemini monster that is already on your field, as well as from using your Normal Summon to power up a Gemini monster that is already on your field. Furthermore, Dioxogre has the ability to summon a Gemini from your Graveyard to destroy any of your opponent’s cards! Because Chemicritter Hydron Hawk and Chemicritter Oxy Ox make Summoning so simple, you’ll always be able to deal with practically any type of card. Its 2800 ATK will pummel through most monsters if it can’t kill it with its effect!
Poly-Chemicritter Hydragon’s stats are identical to Dioxogre’s, with a massive 2800 DEF. In addition, Hydragon’s effect gives any Normal Summoned Gemini Monster 500 ATK and DEF! This will happen both when it summons and when it unlocks its Gemini abilities, so one monster might get a 1000 ATK and DEF increase! Hydragon also allows you to safeguard your Geminis from card effects by destroying a different card you control instead! Your opponent’s only chance of destroying Hydragon is through battle, and its 2800 DEF won’t make it easy! Burnout is a Trap Card that exchanges one on-field Chemicritter for two distinct ones from your Deck, allowing you to rapidly deploy both Poly-Chremicritters on the field. When your opponent hits you directly, you can discard Burnout to Special Summon a banished Gemini monster as an Effect Monster!
The ultimate, most powerful Chemicritter is a volatile mix of the preceding monsters’ essences, combining them into one ultimate, but unstable powerhouse! Vola-Chemicritter Methydraco has 3000 ATK and DEF, and summoning it requires two Level 8 Gemini monsters. Methydraco will immediately summon a Gemini monster from the Graveyard to fight with it when you Xyz Summon it. Bringing out Poly-Chemicritter Dioxogre in one move gives you 5800 ATK!
With a 3000 ATK wall in the way, Methydraco defends your Gemini monsters from being attacked or targeted by card effects, making it difficult for your opponent to eliminate them! When a Gemini monster is Normal Summoned, you can detach a Xyz Material to cause your opponent to send one card from their hand or field to the Graveyard. They get to select, but they’re still down a card, and the effect doesn’t target, destroy, or even influence the card they choose, making cards like Kozmotown and Guiding Ariadne ineffective.
The Chemicritters are a fantastic reincarnation of Gemini Monsters, and they’re especially potent because they work with any old Gemini cards you might have.
