Those who practice mundane astrology may attest to the fact that history does, in fact, repeat itself. My in-depth research over the last thirty years has found incredibly detailed similarities between the history of human progress on our planet and the astrological ages. I discovered an intriguing concept of history from anastrological standpoint by investigating the smaller ‘cycleswithin cycles’ included in each2160-year era. This post is based on the conclusions of my in-depth investigation, which are contained in my book, Signs of the Times: The End of the World and the Coming Golden Age. It indicates that history backs up astrology’s accuracy. This model also provides insight into our existing circumstances as well as prospects for the near and long term.
The astrological ages are based on the precession of the equinoxes and the rearward wobbling of the planet’s axis as seen through the constellations, which are arranged in a circle around the world along the ecliptic, or equator belt. The wobbling of the earth’s axis as the North Pole points down towards and marks each age or constellation in succession is used to calculate ages. This wobble takes 25,920 years to complete, and there are twelve ages of 2,160 years each in one entire cycle. We are currently in the’Age of Pisces,’ with that marker pointing to the constellation Pisces. As the earth’s axis wobbles in a precessional or backward manner through the zodiac, these eras flow backward through the astrological signs. In addition to this progression through the signs, history shows that the signs opposite the principal signs have a significant impact on each age’s history.
Within each age, there are additional shorter cycles. Within each 2160-year age, there is a cycle of twelve smaller periods, which I refer to as’eras,’ each of which contains 180 years. Within each era, there is a cycle of twelve periods, which I refer to as ‘phases,’ each lasting 15 years. Eras and phases denote minor evolutionary cycles inside the broader cycle, yet they travel in a forward manner through the zodiac for some reason. Within the same astrological system, time appears to flow both forward and backward. These shorter durations allow for more precise dating of the astrological ages, indicating that the Western Gregorian calendar is in fact linked with these times. Because the symbolism of the erasand phases precisely fits the time of historical events, the period recognized as 0 BC is actually an accurate beginning to the Age of Pisces.
My extensive research of historical events dating back to the Age of Cancer discovered a recurring pattern. Each age is preceded by a build-up stage, sometimes known as the birthing process. During the Scorpio Era, approximately 900 to 720 years previous to the conclusion of the age, a transition occurs that brings to the fore historical processes that take humanity into the next age.
There is a cycle of death and rebirth in the Scorpio Era of any age.
Scorpio is the zodiac sign that regulates power, domination, death, and rebirth, according to astrology. Ageof Cancer: 8640 to 6480 BC
Food, agriculture, animal domestication, house construction, stable societies, and the mother are all ruled by Cancer.

Ageof Gemini: 6480 to 4320 BC

This marked the beginning of the industrial revolution. There was a quick and spectacular proliferation of more than fifty diverse artisan enterprises throughout the Near East just after 6500 BC. For archaeologists, ceramics was the most important because of its symbolic decorating. By 5000 BC, craftindustries in Eastern Europe and China were growing at a similar rate.

Ageof Taurus: 4320 to 2160 BC

Surprisingly, written language emerged as Taurus consolidated the olderGemini speaking language into a permanent record. Writing was initially employed to record the trade of goods and riches in religion and business. The Taurussymbol of the bull god became their primary deity, and religion became increasingly organized and oriented around it. Religion was inextricably linked to the acquisition of wealth. Lists of merchandise and real estate transactions were the earliest examples of pictographic writing. In Egypt, the pharaoh was in charge of the temple warehouses, where all of Egypt’s riches was collected and distributed. The En, Mesopotamia’s spiritual leaders, are going through the same thing.
Beginning as early as 4000 BC, megalithic tomb constructions were created all over Europe. U’Baid and Sumerian temples were built on top of earlier temples, eventually resulting in massive mountain-like steppedpyramids known as ziggurats (about 2900 BC). Egypt began building massive stone pyramids during the Old Kingdom period. Recent archaeological finds in Peru, spanning from 3000 to 2600 BC, depict a civilization with massive monolithic pyramids comparable to those found in the Old World.
Cities were built on a permanent hieratic pattern, with the main religious temple in the center and walls facing the four cardinal directions.
Building in this manner and incorporating a tight social hierarchy that established a person’s place in society was thought to be akin to the eternal construction of heaven, thereby ensuring permanence on Earth. Cities were transformed into massive colossal towns as a result of this process.
In this age, the contrary force of Scorpio was also visible. This generation’s religions are all heavily focused on death and rebirth in the afterlife. Both Mesopotamia and Egypt’s burial customs reflect an overabundance of concern for the afterlife. To completely enjoy their life beyond death, rulers were buried in large tombs with all of their collected goods, including slaves and retainers. At the same time, ArchaicCulture in the Americas places a comparable emphasis on this sort of burial.
Ageof Aries: 2160 to 0 BC
Aries is the sign that governs warfare, overcoming obstacles, competition, rage, violence, and independence.
With the arrival of this new age, the general quiet of the Age of Taurus gave way to massive violence. Around 2300 BC, Sargon of Akkad founded the first military empire. They were thereafter conquered by the Gutians. Around 2000 BC, the Hurrians defeated the Sumerians, around 1900 BC, the Old Babylonians ruled Mesopotamia, and around 1600 BC, the Hittites invaded Mesopotamia. The Hittites were the first to invent iron weapons, ushering in the Iron Age. Despite the fact that they were significantly superior to bronze weapons, this revelation came too late to save them from defeat. Around 1800 BC, the Hyksos conquered Egypt, and the list continues through the Assyrians and Greeks until Alexander the Great’s worldempire, and subsequently the beginnings of the Roman Empire.
After conquering the Lung Shan, a peaceful agricultural tribe, the martial Shang dynasty rose to power in China approximately 1850BC, becoming the country’s first military dynasty. They could field up to 30,000 warriors at any given time at their peak. Later, in 1122BC, the Chou dynasty, another militaristic tribe, destroyed the Shang and established an even bigger military culture, which lasted until the Warring States Period between 480 and 221BC, when the Chindynasty unified China. The Olmecs of Mexico, around 1200 BC, appear to have been an amilitaristic civilisation in the New World. Helmets are always depicted on the monolithic Olmecheads found throughout the world, whether for battle or sports. Images of conflict and fighting cover the walls of temples in a city recently unearthed in Peru’s Casmas valley dating from around 1500 BC.
The focus of religion and creation mythology shifted to hero mythology.
In a heavenly war for independence, the Babylonian warrior deity Marduk overcame the older mother goddess Tiamat. Masculine gods battled established feminine goddesses all across the world and won their independence. The idea of a single warrior winning his way to fame is central to hero stories. Beginning around 2000 BC, a patriarchal movement (dubbed “mythic solarisation” by mythologists) swept the globe, universally marking the transition from matriarchy to topatriarchy. Aries, the masculine sign, was pitted against Taurus, the older feminine sign. The Greek Olympus religion was the pinnacle of warrior/hero religions, with all of the gods and goddesses fighting and squabbling amongst themselves while selecting sides in human fights. The Hebrew Old Testament was also written in the style of a warrior. God is depicted as the commander-in-chief of his chosen people/army, leading them to the Promised Land. Although a god of love (possibly from an earlier Age of Taurus), when his rule is challenged, he becomes enraged and punishes. The Hebrew god appears to be in perpetual combat with the gods of other people, who are generally labeled as pagan, in a way similar to the Greek gods.
Ageof Pisces: 0 to 2160
Religion and spirituality, transcendence, prophecies and prophets, narcotics, delusion, confinement, and terror are all associated with Pisces.
This has been a period of great world faiths, including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism, to name a few. After the Prophetic Revolution in the eighth and seventh century BC, Judaism became a world religion. Hinduism shifted its focus from minor gods like Agni and Indra to the transcendent gods Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. The preceding age’s warrior-hero ideal evolved into the transcendent ideals of the saint, guru, and sage. The focus shifted to achieving enlightenment, ascending to paradise, freeing oneself from the prison of the wheel of life, and overcoming Satan. The focus of Christianity and Judaism was on prophecy and the arrival of the Messiah (inChristianity it is the second coming). As their God, Christianity claims the ultimate prophet: Christ, the Son of God. Moslems believe Muhammad to be the final prophet. In the East, the focus was on enlightenment and the destruction of Maya, or the Pisces illusion, as well as freedom from the Wheel of Life’s incarceration.
These religions became the first multi-national organizations in the world, extending their message far beyond local, national, and cultural barriers. Early European governments became theocracies, or religious governments, and politics in this period was primarily concerned with Christian issues. The nature of the approaching Age of Aquarius, which emphasizes the attributes of genius, science, knowledge, humanitarianism, brotherhood, and boundless possibilities, is hinted at by our own Renaissance tilt toward humanism and science. We are on the verge of entering an unfathomably gorgeous new world. Understanding renaissances necessitates a quick review of the eras inside each age.
Eras
Within each age, there are 12 eras of 180 years each. They go ahead through the zodiac signs in a forwardprogression, whereas the ages move backwards.
The recurringcycle of renaissance (Sagittarius), classical (Capricorn), and scientific periods (Aquarius) that come at theheight of each age and plant new seeds that will blossom in theupcomingnew age is the mostdynamic depiction of the power of these eras. Scorpio Era, Pisces Age: 1260 to 1440
This time saw the end of Medieval European culture, owing in large part to a series of fatal epidemics, the most deadly of which was the Black Death, which lasted 50 to 100 years and killed one-fourth of Europe’s population. The Church got enamored with money and began selling burial and mortuary services as well as relics. Over power and control difficulties, the Papacy split, with three distinct Popes governing at the same time. The Spanish Inquisition began torturing people in order to extract confessions. Sagittarius Era, Pisces Age: 1440 to 1620

Various European renaissances reflect renaissances that occurred 2,160 years before, in the Age of Aries, during the Sagittarius Era (720 to 540 BC). During this time, both the Chaldeans and the Assyrians experienced brilliant cultural renaissances. Even the Greek ArchaicPeriod, which preceded their classicalperiod, was a period of renaissance.
Capricorn Era, Pisces Age: 1620 to1800
Natural philosophy and rational thought established the basis for government and art as Europe settled into a period of classical achievement. This period was known as the Age of Reason, the Age of Enlightenment, and the Age of Philosophers and Kings in various parts of Europe. Modern European natural philosophers such as Sir Isaac Newton, Adam Smith, John Locke, and Descartes flourished during this time. Outside of Europe, China’s Ching dynasty was the pinnacle of their classical period.
In Europe, absolute monarchy were established during this period. In France, Louis XIV, the Sun King, established a classicalenlightened monarchy. This period also aided the establishment of the British Commonwealth, a republican form of government in the United Kingdom that would eventually lead to democracy in the United States. In the Dutch United Provinces, Switzerland, and Italy, republican systems of governance were established. Finally, the French Revolution was an attempt to change the world.

This was the age when classical and classicist art, as well as classical music, flourished throughout Europe. It was also a time of traditional Baroque architecture, with the Palace of Versailles serving as the pinnacle.

A Communist utopian ideal was pitted against a capitalistic and democratic utopian ideal. As the West struggled with Communism for scientific superiority, school curricula shifted toward a heavy science focus.
PiscesPhase of the Aquarius Era, Age of Pisces (1965 to 1980)
This was an era of severe social disintegration. This period must be understood historically in relation to the Pisces Era, which extends from 1980 until 2160. This is all part of a longer period of time. Race riots, student riots, and prison riots all signal the dissolution of social standards and the necessity for reform at all levels during the Pisces Phase. During this time, toxic industrial pollution and radioactive pollution became strong news stories, threatening to hasten the extinction of life and humanity. Extinction rates were thousands of times higher than normal. Welfare began to climb at a breakneck pace, putting several cities on the verge of bankruptcy. Internal violence and criminality have risen considerably, putting a strain on law enforcement and the prison system. In South and Central America, death squads were active. Suicide and depression have skyrocketed to epidemic proportions. This energy had an effect on the ecosystem as well. Since the 1970s, there has been a steady and dramatic increase in volcanic and earthquake activity. Ozone depletion and global warming were the first to be detected, and environmentalists’ warnings were widely ignored.
The modern world began to disintegrate with the end of the Aquarius Era of the Age of Pisces. In 1980, we entered the Pisces Era, and our world proceeded to fall apart. Surprisingly, Pisces regulates dissolution, while Virgo rules disintegration and extinction. We are living in a moment when social and ecological systems are collapsing. This time period corresponds to end-of-the-world prophecies that are currently rising in a variety of civilizations, ranging from Christian prophecy to Native American prophecy.
This is not, strictly speaking, the end of the world. Rather, it marks the conclusion of one period and the start of a new one, similar to a clock with the minute and hour hands going beyond 12:00. A phase like this is marked by the zodiac’s Pisces-Virgo axis. The fact that this axis occurs within the zodiac lends credence to religious prophecies about the end of days. These beliefs may have a historical foundation.
PiscesEra, Age of Pisces (1980 to 2160)
From this point forward, we are in the Age of Pisces’ Pisces Era. As we entered the Pisces Era of the Age of Pisces, the energy of the Pisces Phase of the Aquarius Era has largely continued. Virgo regulates disintegration and extinction, while Pisces rules dissolution. Pisces is also the sign of prophecy and its fulfillment.
During this time, within the Age of Pisces, PiscesEra activity creates a double Pisces bath, a period of collapse and upheaval. It is a continuation of the disruptive trends that began in the previous Pisces Phase (1965–1981), which lasted from 1965 to 1980. According to some scientists, we are on the verge of a sixth great, all-encompassing mass extinction of life on Earth. Global warming is now widely acknowledged as a significant hazard to human life. This conforms to religious prophecy from numerous cultures around the world, as well as current Native American prophesy, which claims that we are nearing the end of the current world scenario.
AriesPhase, Pisces Era, Age of Pisces (1980 to 1995)
Aries is the sign of conflict and aggression. Much of the preceding phase’s violence persisted into this one, including domestic terrorism and the rising crime rate that had troubled most towns for decades. The level of social violence has risen to new heights. Inner-city gangs such as the Bloods and the Crips now have automatic weapons and have evolved into what could be called criminal armies. Murder became a rite of passage for these gangs’ initiation. Drive-by shootings and other types of mindless violence have become commonplace in the United States. Girl gangs quickly surpassed male gangs in terms of violence. Children began to turn to violence at an early age as well. There were horrifying news accounts from this time period about very young children killing their parents or other, even smaller children, frequently just to explore how it felt. Every year, around ten million violent crimes were committed in America by the middle of the 1990s. This was a four- to five-fold rise in reported violent crimes per capita compared to the early 1960s. In the history of the planet, America has suddenly become the most violent civilised nation ever documented.
El Salvador had a period of extreme internal conflict after a coup in 1979. To quell any and all protest, as well as the chance of any type of reform, the government, as well as civilian and semi-private organisations, began forming murder squads geared towards their own people. TaurusPhase, Pisces Era, Age of Pisces (1995 to 2010)
There was a substantial decrease in violent crimes starting around 1993. As the Taurean energy of peace took root in 1995, that trend became more visible, and the pattern has maintained. During this time, the quantity and intensity of terrorist strikes around the world also decreased substantially.
The dominant historical focus has shifted away from violence and toward the economy since 1995. Mexico depreciated the peso in late 1994. This was an economically prudent measure that would allow the peso to float and settle at its true value. The value of thepeso plummeted and continued to plummet. As a result of the near-bankruptcy of Mexico, the United States was forced to intervene and offer help. Around the same time, the New York Stock Exchange rocketed from 2,000 points to over 11,000 in less than a year. The stock market had never seen such tremendous growth before. Although the stock market is still rising, it has become extremely volatile, fluctuating by hundreds of points in a single day.
As a result, equities have remained extremely overvalued, posing a threat to global economic stability. Following Mexico’s near-bankruptcy, rich Orange County in Southern California announced that they, too, were on the edge of going bankrupt. Then, in 1997, the period’s economic focus came home. The Asian ‘Flu’ was a major economic breakdown that began in Southeast Asia and swiftly spread to Japan, South America, South Africa, and even Russia. When compared to traditional beliefs, there will be an increase in new ideas, which may cause debate and division. Science will face an ideological imperative to include some notion of intelligent design into its strictly secular ideas based on the current concept of chance and accidental evolution.
