On Saturday, April 30th at 1:28pm PDT, there will be a New Moon in Taurus with a partial eclipse. This is the first Eclipse of the year, and it contains the sliver of a dozen New Moons. This New Moon is exactly what we all require; it is the antidote to the current situation. With the juiciness of a ripe mango, it’s full of love, potential, and fresh beginnings.

North and South America, Europe, and Africa will all see the total moon eclipse on May 16. According to NASA’s Eclipse website, it will begin at 9:32 p.m. EDT (0132 GMT) and endure for nearly 5 hours and 18 minutes. At 12:12 a.m. EDT, the eclipse will reach its height (0412 on May 17 GMT).
On November 8, a total lunar eclipse will be seen across Asia, Australia, the Pacific Ocean, and the Americas. According to NASA, the eclipse will begin at 3:02 a.m. EST (0802 GMT) and run for around 5 hours, 53 minutes, with totality lasting 1 hour, 24 minutes. It will reach its highest point around 6 a.m. EST (1100 GMT).
Because the moon’s orbit around the Earth is inclined, it does not align with Earth’s shadow every month, hence a lunar eclipse does not occur every month.
In January 2022, will there be a full moon?
The next full Moon will be on Monday, January 17, 2022, at 6:48 p.m. EST, when it will appear opposite the Sun in Earth-based longitude. On Tuesday, the International Date Line will be crossed from West Central Africa and Central Europe to the rest of Africa, Eurasia, and Australia. Around this period, the Moon will be full for about three days, from Sunday evening to Wednesday morning.
