So I looked at it and realized that I was Snuffy and my buddy was Bert, which sort of fits, except that I’m Bert and they’re Herry Monster. But, hey, I’m also a little bit fictitious, so Snuffy was great.
But something wasn’t quite right. Something I couldn’t put my finger on until fellow Tough Pig Shane Keating tweeted that he is a Rosita because his birthday is in September. The fact that Rosita is not a September was more essential than whether Shane was bilingual, best friends with Prairie Dawn, or could fly.

There are some inconsistencies, especially when it comes to good ol’ Zoe, but they’ve been quite stable for decades.
The majority, but not all, of the characters in this Twitter graphic correlate to their correct birth months. Abby, Slimey, Grover, and Rosita are all in the wrong months, while the rest of the cast is proper. That couldn’t have happened by chance, therefore it’s strange how things turned out.
So all we have to do now is rearrange some Muppets and we’ll be good to go, right? Wrong. While this is true for the canon calendar, it may not be true in real life. Although Sherlock Hemlock was born in April, is he a true April? Is he able to capture everything April has to offer?
