To be completely honest, I don’t really think of Kenny as an Aries. Pisces, who is delicate and sensitive and always puts his friends first, is the sign that I think best describes him. Wow, I really like how I can picture Kyle, Stan, and Kenny as Pisces signs, but Cartman is a Cancer. The boys are all so incredibly sensitive. Kenny, though, is an Aries-Pisces cusp because of his March 22 birthday. Considering how naive and trusting Pisces are, I believe Butters should be a water sign. However, I can also view Butters as a Cancer because of the way he reacts to frustration by snapping at others and being gloomy.
When was Stan Marsh born?
In the first The Spirit of Christmas short, titled Jesus vs. Frosty, made by Parker and Stone in 1992 while they were undergraduates at the University of Colorado, an unknown forerunner of Stan first made an appearance. Construction paper cutouts were used to create the character, which was then stop motion animated. Three years later, when friend Brian Graden asked Parker and Stone to do another short as a video Christmas card that he could send to friends, they produced Jesus vs. Santa, another similarly animated The Spirit of Christmas short in which Stan also made an appearance. He shared the surname “Marsh” with Parker’s paternal step-grandfather when given his full name in the season one episode “An Elephant Makes Love to a Pig.” Parker stated that Stone and he would converse in high-pitched, childlike tones, much to the annoyance of their film teachers, during film class, which is where Parker came up with the voice of Stan. When South Park first aired, they would utilize these voices again. Parker now speaks in his usual vocal range while adding a juvenile intonation, despite initially voicing Stan without any computer manipulation. After that, Pro Tools is used to modify the audio, changing the pitch to make the voice seem more like a fourth-grader.
