He always has a bow and arrow in his hand. Jesus is both the rider and the white horse in the Bible. People will be saved by him, and he will defeat Satan.
Psalm 45:4-5 Ride out victorious for the cause of truth, meekness, and righteousness in your majesty; teach you magnificent deeds with your right hand! Your arrows pierce the hearts of the king’s enemies, and the peoples submit to you. (ESV)

Is Sagittarius the God?
Sagittarius was recognized by the Babylonians as the god Nergal, a centaur-like monster who shot an arrow from a bow. It is usually shown as having wings, two heads, one panther and one human, and a scorpion’s stinger rising above its more traditional horse’s tail. Pabilsag is a Sumerian name made up of two elements: Pabil, which means “older paternal kinsman,” and Sag, which means “chief, head.” As a result, the name might be interpreted as ‘Forefather’ or ‘Chief Ancestor.’ The figure is evocative of modern Sagittarius portrayals.
Is Zodiac signs a sin in the Bible?
God instructed the Israelites to abandon all Canaanite practices of divination (including astrology), fortune-telling, and sorcery, according to Scripture. The Lord deemed these practices to be an abomination (Deuteronomy 18:9-12).
‘The prophets are prophesying lies in my name,’ the Lord said to me. I didn’t send them, and I didn’t give them any orders or talk to them.’ They are prophesying to you a deceitful vision, useless divination, and their own deception.
The astrologists and sorceries were put to shame in Daniel’s book when they failed to interpret the King’s dream.
The magicians, enchanters, Chaldeans, and astrologers then came in, and I informed them about the dream, but they couldn’t tell me what it meant.
We witness a servant girl possessed by the Spirit of Divination in Acts (Acts 16:16-24). Paul exorcised the wicked entity from her. She was practicing fortune-telling and had made a lot of money for her proprietors as a result. Demons were providing her uncanny insight into other people’s lives.
Some of these issues were also faced by the Israelites and members in the New Testament church. Anything related to these “divulging practices” was to be removed from the church, according to Paul.
Many new Christians came forward, confessing and disclosing their practices. And a group of people who had dabbled with magic gathered their books and burnt them in front of everyone. They counted the value of them and discovered it was fifty thousand silver pieces. As a result, the Lord’s word grew in strength and influence.
They acknowledged their transgressions and set fire to all of their possessions. And it was through them that God was able to continue his work.
Participation in Zodiac sign believing means participating in astrology, which the Bible forbids and God views evil throughout the Bible.
Is Jesus a Sagittarius?
This isn’t a blog about religion or the historicity or religiosity of Jesus. It’s a blog about star signs, and since it’s the holiday season, and the widely believed date of Jesus’ birth provides a helpful spot in a chronology from which we can draw comparisons, it’s a good time to talk about it. So I’m not going to debate whether Jesus was born on this date, what reports there are of him, or even whether he existed as a historical entity at all.
I’m also not going to get into the fact that dates have altered over the last two thousand years. In 1 AD, the Romans used the Julian calendar, which had 12 months and one additional day for leap years. The Gregorian calendar, which was created in 1582 and differs from the Julian calendar by 1 day every 128 years, is now widely used. Other cultures had their own ways of calculating the passage of time at the time (the Mayan calendar has been one of interest in recent years). The winter solstice, on the other hand, is a calendar date that corresponds to the widely recognized date of Jesus’ birth. (This is most likely why that date became accepted as the birthdate, as the Romans already celebrated it in their Sol Invictus festival.)
In conclusion, if the title of this blog offends you, please change it to something more correct, but less intriguing. Is it possible to be a Capricorn if you were born around the winter solstice in the year 1 AD?
Your Star Sign
Pisces is my zodiac sign. What exactly does that imply? To the majority of people (in cultures where star signs are popular), it simply implies that I was born between February 19 and March 20. But why are those dates significant? Let’s pretend I was born on February 19th at 12:00 a.m. (noon). I would be a Pisces if I were born in 1982, but an Aquarius if I were born in 1983. Astrologers refer to these transition dates as “cusp dates,” and determining the exact time when the transition happens is not easy. During the 1980s, for example, the changeover time ranged from 00:20 to 20:00, with no discernible pattern.
Essentially, the position of the Sun in the sky at the moment of your birth determines your star sign. The Sun appears to move in lockstep with the Earth’s rotation, just as the stars do, but the Earth’s rotational axis is tilted relative to its orbital axis, causing the Sun to deviate from the paths of the stars, such that it passes through the ecliptic plane (the plane in which the Earth orbits the Sun and contains the 12 zodiac constellations) once a year. Using Pisces as an example, this indicates that between 19 February and 20 March, the Sun will be in the Pisces constellation’s sector of the sky (the crossover between Pisces and Aries occurs at the Vernal Equinox). It isn’t, but we’ll get to that later.
Your Zodiac Sign
As an aside, there is a distinction to be made between a Star Sign (Sun Sign) and a Zodiac Sign. The star sign refers to the Sun’s position in the sky, whereas the zodiac sign refers to the stars themselves. The ascendant, or which zodiac sign was rising on the eastern horizon at the time of your birth, determines your zodiac sign. A new zodiac sign will rise every two hours since the sky is divided into 12 segments. Astrologers interpret not just the Sun’s and horizon’s positions in relation to the stars, but also the moon’s and planets’ positions. We’ll concentrate on the star sign for the rest of this blog because it’s the most well-known in Western culture.
Not a Pisces?
Because the Sun was in the constellation Pisces at the time of my birth, we’ve deduced that I’m a Pisces, right? Unfortunately, the answer is no. The Sun was in the constellation Aquarius when I was born in March of the mid-1970s. In fact, it’s almost certain that the Sun was not in the constellation you associate with when you were born. If you’re wondering, you can find out what your true star sign is here.
What are we doing wrong? Isn’t it true that we’ve been using zodiac signs since the Babylonians? That is, in fact, the issue. The dates connected with the constellations have not changed over time, but the location of the Sun in the sky at certain times has.
Allow me to explain. Because the Earth’s axis is tilted, its orbit around the Sun resembles that of a spinning top. Furthermore, the Earth is not a perfect spherical, and the equator is slightly larger. Precession is caused by gravity from the moon and other planetary objects on the ecliptic plane, which causes an imbalance in the Earth’s orbit. This film serves as a great example. Notice how the rod supporting the mass rotates due to the mass imbalance? The Earth is subject to the same precession, which results in a 26,000-year revolution around this precession circle. This means that the stars’ positions in relation to the Sun and planets will change over time, and their positions will change at the same time.
To put it another way, the Sun moves through the sky at a rate of about one constellation every 2200 years. So, if I was born between the 19th and 20th of February in the year 1 AD, I’d be a Pisces. Today, on the other hand, I’d be an Aquarius. A person born between these dates in the year 4000 AD would be a Capricorn, as the Sun would be in that position at the time of their birth.
And the Constellations Themselves?
Your star sign fluctuates based on the year you were born, as we’ve established. Isn’t it true, though, that the constellations themselves don’t change? Surely, some images created by connecting dots between selected stars in the sky will always seem the same. What may possibly be the issue? You probably have a good idea where this is going. No, neither the constellations nor the stars are constant. The solar system orbits the center of its galaxy with a period of roughly 250 million years, and the stars are all at varying distances from the Earth.
As the Earth rotates around the Sun, stars that are relatively close to the Earth alter their position in the sky. Astronomers calculate the distance to the star by measuring the angular change in the star’s location at six-month intervals and using simple trigonometry (knowing that the Earth moves 300,000 km around the Sun every six months). This is known as parallax.
As each star orbits the galaxy’s core, its relative position to the Earth will vary in a similar way. As a result, the distribution of stars in the sky varies over lengthy periods of time. As a result, the constellations will change their appearance. It takes tens of thousands of years for them to evolve to the point where they are no longer recognisable, but they are always changing. The image below depicts a simulation of how several well-known constellations will change during the next 150,000 years (thanks to Halycon Maps).
Summary
Is it possible that Jesus was born under the sign of Capricorn? He would have been, without a doubt. However, if he were born today, he would be a Sagittarius. Also, back then, the Sagittarius constellation would have appeared a little different. All of these orbital planes certainly complicate matters.
I hope you have a good time at the Sol Invictus festival. Howard Tutoring wishes you all the best. We’ll see you again next year.
Cornell University was kind enough to provide some of the precession information. Thanks also to Wired magazine for their piece on the constellations’ changing appearances.
What zodiac is Jesus?
An astrological age is a period of time in astrology that corresponds to fundamental changes in the development of Earth’s inhabitants, particularly in culture, society, and politics, and there are twelve astrological ages that correlate to the twelve zodiac signs. The precession of the equinoxes causes astronomical ages, and one whole phase of this precession is called a Great Year or Platonic Year, which lasts around 25,920 years.
The age of Pisces began around the year 1 and will finish around the year 2150. Many Christian icons for Christ incorporate the astrological symbol for Pisces, the fishes, because the narrative of Christ’s birth falls on this date. Christ is regarded an archetype of the Piscean since he has many of the temperaments and personality qualities of a Piscean. Furthermore, the twelve apostles were known as “fishers of men,” early Christians were known as “little fishes,” and “Ikhthus,” the Greek word for fish, was used as a code term for Jesus. The beginning of the age, or the “Great Month of Pisces,” is seen as the start of the Christian religion as a result of this. Saint Peter is the apostle of the Piscean zodiac sign.
Which god Should Sagittarius worship?
Sagittarius is influenced by Jupiter and hence has a direct link to Lord Vishnu and Lord Hanuman’s blessings. Sagittarians are known for their wealth and achievements, hence they must always pray to Lord Hanuman and fast on Tuesdays or Saturdays.
Who is Sagittarius enemy?
According to Kerr Wright, the most likely opponents of a Sagittarius are Pisces, Cancer, and Aquarius. Because Sagittarius is a problem-solver, it can intensify Pisces’ need to concentrate on the current dispute rather than taking efforts to resolve it. It’s more of the same with Cancer.
What did Jesus say about astrology?
“In Luke 21:25, Jesus adds, “There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars.” Throughout the Old Testament, this is true. Try Daniel 1:20 & 2:10, where astrology is mentioned as one of the ways of divination “God’s prophet is taught “knowledge and understanding.”
Do Christians believe in zodiac signs?
Many Christians are allowing their minds to be opened to possibilities they had never considered before. According to a recent survey, roughly 30% of Catholics said they believed in astrology. There were 13% of white evangelicals who claimed to believe in astrology. Many of my clients are becoming more interested in astrology as a tool for self-awareness, based on my personal experiences as a registered clinical social worker.
What Zodiac is devil?
It’s because the Devil is you that the Devil is frequently depicted as a goat’s head in paintings. You willingly agreed to be photographed. You don’t want to do the right thing because that’s for losers. You’ll do bad things until you’re caught, then claim to be sorry. Sometimes you’re even made a scapegoatbut not very often, because you’re typically the one who’s to blame.
