Leo arrives to Calypso’s island in The House of Hades because the gods did not grant Percy’s wish to liberate her from her cursed home of Ogygia. Leo and Calypso don’t get along well at first, but as he attempts to flee, she proves to be a wonderful help, and the two end up becoming friends. Just before Leo departs, they also exchange a kiss. Leo has doubts that Calypso loves him and that he truly is “in love with an immortal girl” after leaving Ogygia. He then makes a promise to return for Calypso in front of the River Styx. Jason observes that he has lost much of his nervous energy and has the same heartbroken expression that he saw from Nico when he goes to the outside world, making it obvious that he misses Calypso.
After defeating Gaea, Leo in The Blood of Olympus becomes fixated on going back to Calypso. Once Gaea has left, he transports Calypso back to Earth using Odysseus’ Astrolabe to return to Ogygia.
The two go back to Camp Half-Blood six months later in The Hidden Oracle, where it is revealed that Calypso has been turned mortal and impotent by abandoning Ogygia.
Leo and Calypso accompany Apollo on his journey in The Dark Prophecy, and they get curious about life at the Waystation, as Calypso starts to reclaim her magic. Calypso and Leo make the decision to remain at the Waystation and enroll in mortal high school jointly.

Who does Calypso ultimately choose?
Calypso, a sea nymph who belonged to Oceanides, was the daughter of the Titan god Atlas and Tethys. Her name is derived from a Greek phrase that means “to conceal,” and she represented the influences that cause people to veer away from their objectives. There are many plot twists and seductive moments in the Greek myth of Calypso and Odysseus (Ulysses).
Calypso
In Greek mythology, Calypso tempted Odysseus and kept him from seeing his wife Penelope for years before Athena interfered; eventually, Calypso had to let him go and even assisted him in building his boat. In Greek mythology, she has both a bad and a good meaning: Calypso is a bad sign because she conceals and seduces, but a good symbol since she saves. She always gets compared to Penelope, which makes her a distraction and diverting force.
Calypso and Odysseusin Ogygia
Calypso was exiled from Ogygia as a prisoner because she backed her father in the conflicts between the Titans and the Olympians. There are numerous hypotheses as to the island’s possible locations, but its exact location is still unknown. Homer introduced the tale of Calypso and Odysseus in Ogygia, and many historians and academics hold the view that as most of Homer’s settings were fictitious or mythological, this one was also. Some people thought the island was in the Ionian Sea, which is part of the western Mediterranean Sea. In any case, Calypso welcomed the weary Greek hero Odysseus to the island of Ogygia after he had been lost at sea for nine days after losing his men and ship to the monsters of Italy and Sicily while returning from Troy.
Mythical Odysseus captured Calypso’s heart, and she desired to make him her immortal husband and grant him endless youth. Odysseus, however, refused to accept her kindness since he was daydreaming about returning to Ithaca and his wife. Despite his rejection of her advances, Calypso continued to hope for and seduce Odysseus because she was so deeply in love with him. She eventually turned him into her lover.
Hesiod claims that they spent seven years together in Calypso’s breathtaking cave residence, during which time Calypso gave birth to two children, Nausithous and Nausinous. Latinus, according to Apollodorus, was the son of Calypso and Odysseus. Was Odysseus actually imprisoned by Calypso, or did his yearnings grow weaker with time and the warmth and love Calypso gave him?
Unless the goddess Athena had requested Zeus to “What could have transpired to protect Odysseus from Ogygia and Calypso? Hermes, the gods’ emissary, was dispatched by Zeus to convince Calypso to let Odysseus leave. Zeus, the King of the Gods, was too tempting for Calypso to refuse, but she had a few words for Hermes about her impending loss and her fear of Zeus’s might “You gods are cruel people, unmatched in your levels of resentment, for you cannot stand to see a goddess have sex with a man, even if it is done openly and she has made him her legal consort (Homer, Odyssey 5.120). She thus assisted Odysseus in building the vessel that would transport him to his bride and Ithaca. She supplied good breezes, enough food and wine for the lengthy trek.
After losing her seven-year love, Calypso, who thought she had saved Odysseus, attempted suicide. But because she was immortal, she only experienced excruciating torment.
What may have happened if Athena and Zeus hadn’t stepped in to save the day? If the boat had been built before leaving the island, would Odysseus have done so? Did the sea nymph Calypso truly possess the ability to bind Odysseus’s free will to leave? Was it possible for her to keep him against his allegedly powerful will? Was Calypso indeed a distraction myth or a never-ending seduction of passion?
Which book does Leo bring back?

Reyna is dating who?
Reyna arrived in Camp Jupiter and spent four years as a member of the Twelfth Legion Fulminata. She eventually rose to the rank of Praetor, though it is unknown whose cohort she was in. Reyna, however, was not a Centurion. Rather, she made a direct transition from Legionnaire to Praetor.
Bryce Lawrence was thought to have murdered his own Centurion when Reyna was praetor. Bryce made Reyna feel disgusting and believed he was a little sicko. Reyna was certain that he killed his centurion and sought to establish this, but owing to a lack of proof and the influence of Bryce’s family, he was just banished from camp and received a mild punishment.
Jason Grace, a Jupiter from the Fifth Cohort son, and Reyna grew close during her stay at Camp. Reyna and Jason became close because of Diocletian, and they both agreed that, even though it was against the law, they would visit Dalmatia, the region where Diocletian was born, if they ever crossed the Mare Nostrum. Reyna detested when Jason tried to say her last name, which she hardly ever used, informing him that it was the name of a girl she left in Puerto Rico. As they grew up together in Camp Jupiter, Reyna fell in love with Jason. Over time, Reyna’s amorous feelings for Jason grew stronger. Reyna eventually thought they would get married when they were praetors.
Reyna and Jason traveled to Charleston, South Carolina when they were fourteen years old on a mission to recover imperial gold torpedoes from the C.S.S. Hunley. When the two arrived at the batteries, they discovered something in the park. Every time they attempted to approach it, which they believed to be a Southern Belle from the Civil War, it vanished. Reyna made the decision to visit the ghost by herself. It turned out to be Venus when she got close to it. No demigod, according to Venus, will mend her broken heart, and she won’t find love in the places she sought or hoped. Although Reyna knew she wasn’t damaged, she had the impression that Venus believed she was broken and required romantic healing. She was shaken when she returned and her attitude toward Jason never recovered. Everyone at Camp Jupiter knew what Venus had said when she returned, with the exception of Jason. They started talking about her, giving her sorrowful glances, and offering dating advise.

After Jason’s passing, what happens to Piper?
A parchment scroll bearing a holographic message, sent by the revived Leo, arrived to Camp Half-Blood on the wind a few days after Gaea’s passing and the deaths and resurrections of Leo and himself. While still upset with Leo for his protracted absence, Piper and Jason are ecstatic to find that he is still alive. As a result, they both spend the most of September looking for Leo, Festus, and Calypso.
However, Chiron eventually convinces them to return to school, and Piper and Jason move to a school in Los Angeles (where her father Tristan McLean now resides), taking Gleeson Hedge, Mellie, and Chuck with them.
After discovering a mythological power responsible for the wildfires, they investigate the Labyrinth. When Jason runs across Herophile, he warns him that one of them will perish if he and Piper pursue Caligula. They come home after he stops the quest without telling her.
Sometime later, Piper breaks up with Jason because she feels that Hera and her mother forced their relationship on them and she wants to live for herself, even though she later admits that she still loves him after he passes away.
