Is it possible to alter the trigger on a Taurus G2C?
Keep Tinkering SAO Short Stroke Trigger is my overall preference because it enhances the trigger, removes the trigger safety bar, and disables the second-strike potential.
The trigger and striker guide are two trigger improvement possibilities beyond the Taurus. Installing one of these options on your G2c will reduce take-up and virtually eliminate over-travel. The take-up appears to be grittier than the standard trigger, but it’s not as awful.

What’s the difference between a G2 and a G2C Taurus?
The Taurus PT111 Millennium G2 and G2C are powerful rifles that are reasonably priced. Although both pistols have some similarities, the G2C wins out in terms of appearance and durability. However, due to its internal slide lock mechanism, the PT111 Millennium G2 may be a better option if you want a safe gun.

Is it possible to put a red dot on a Taurus G2c?
The EGW red dot sight mount adapter plates are designed to replace the rear sight on Taurus G2S, G2C, G3, PT111 G2, PT140 G2, PT709, PT740, and TX22. To attach your Vortex Viper, Vortex Venom, Burris FastFire, or Docter red-dot sight, remove the rear sight from your gun and replace it with our mount. Hardware for installation is included. With the muzzle facing forward, our adaptor plate should be inserted from left to right. The dovetail has a progressive taper to make installation easier.
(A tiny piece of paper placed between the red dot sight and the sight mount will make removal easier and keep Loctite off the red dot sight.)
Installation of the screws included with this mount requires a 5/64″ allen wrench.

Is the Taurus G2c a reliable weapon?
The Taurus G2c is one of the company’s top pistol models and products. The G2c works admirably on the range, holding twelve 9mm rounds. There are internal and external safety features that can become redundant.
The Taurus G2c, on the other hand, is the best handgun you can get for the money. The handgun is small and light, making it ideal for hiding. Plus, despite being far less expensive than some of the industry’s best brands, it does not lose quality. The gun has a comfortable polymer grip that fits most people’s hands.

Where does Taurus G3c come from?
The G3c is a polymer-frame, striker-fired semi-auto with a low recoil and locked-breech action made in Brazil. This handgun has a conventional 9 mm 12+1 ammunition capacity and a design that is clearly based on its predecessor, the G2c. With outward dimensions similar to the Glock G26, holsters like the DeSantis Inner Piece 2.0 inside-the-waistband holster are easy to find for comfortable concealment.
The Tenifer finish on the carbon-steel slide has a demonstrated history of scratch, wear, and corrosion resistance. The G2 style slide’s deep front cutouts have been replaced with a squared-off profile that allows for front and rear canted cocking serrations. For those who prefer to handle the slide from the front end, this is a benefit. The nose of the slide is beveled for easier reholstering, and the back end is elegantly contoured to match the frame curves.
An all-steel sight system has been installed to replace the polymer sights. The white-dot front sight is combined with a serrated square notch rear sight that is drift-adjustable by dovetailing into the slide. Taurus understands that many concealed-carry users are switching to fiber optics or night sights instead of factory iron sights. The G3’s dovetail and front sight port are compatible with sight upgrades offered for Glock pistols, making this process easier for consumers.
G2C or G3C: which is better?
The G3c’s frame material and finish appear to be a little nicer than the Taurus G2c’s, and the G3c’s metal sights are also a pleasant touch. These upgrades are minor, but the G2c lacks any features that make it feel more premium than the Taurus G3c.
