Despite his divinity, the Greeks thought of him as a Thracian, maybe to identify him with what they saw as alien and war-loving peoples who were very different from themselves. Ares had a number of children with various lovers, some of whom met up with Hercules on his famous twelve labors. Ares’ Amazon queen daughter Hippolyta lost her girdle to Hercules, as did his son Eurytion’s livestock, and Diomedes’ horses were stolen by the Greek hero. Ares’ ancestors were also considered to be the brave but warlike Amazons.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Aries is a natural leader. They embody all of the characteristics of a “firstborn” as the Zodiac’s first sign. They are logical, determined, and thrive when they are assisting others in achieving their full potential.
Aries is one of the zodiac signs that makes the best managers because they operate from a place of cooperation rather than ego, and they can separate their emotions from their decisions. In addition, they are frequently creative and brilliant geniuses (Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Vincent van Gogh were all Aries).
This combination makes them extremely powerful since they can combine fantastic ideas with practical implementation (the aforementioned names were not only brilliant, but also productive in their work), and most Aries can do the same. They may not be the most personable leaders, but they are the most effective.

When it comes to the name Aries, there are two separate stories associated with it. The myth of Aries the Ram is one, while the story of Ares, a Greek god, is another. Aries is frequently spelled “Ares” when referring to the god. Aries, the zodiac sign, is a hybrid of the two myths.
Ares is a Greek god of war who appears in Greek mythology. Athena was his sister’s name. Athena was a goddess of war, although she differed from her brother in several ways. Her brother was destructive and chaotic, but she was a very disciplined and strategic goddess. Ares and Athena were employed by the Greeks to depict the two sides of a conflict. The intentions of one deity were well-thought-out and explicit, but the plans of the other god were sporadic and unorganized. Greeks believed that one side of a war was deliberate and premeditated, while the other was unpredictable.
Ares had a reputation for having a bloodlust. To put it another way, his rash anger and erratic behavior frequently resulted in people being injured or losing their lives. Some of Ares’ qualities have become connected with those born under the sign of Aries the Ram, though not to the same extent. These individuals are frequently described as impulsive, brave, and fearless, as well as impatient.
The constellation Aries the Ram can be observed from Earth. This cluster of stars was supposed to resemble a ram’s head by the Greeks. Aries’ mythology is based on the narrative of Jason and the Argonauts. Jason set off on a mission to find the Golden Fleece of Aries the Ram. It was necessary for him to demonstrate that he was the true monarch of Iolcus. Pelias, his uncle, had acceded to the throne despite the fact that it was not legitimately his. Pelias held Jason’s father imprisoned in order to keep his throne. Jason’s mother pretended he was already dead, so he would have killed him. When he reached adulthood, he attempted to reclaim the throne. He was dispatched on a series of journeys to show his worthiness, and one of the challenges was to find the Ram’s Golden Fleece.
Despite the fact that Aries the Ram and Ares, the Greek god, share the same name, they are unrelated. They’re both Greek gods, but Ares was frequently shown as a vulture or hound when depicted as an animal in Greek mythology. In one story, he transforms into a boar. He was smitten by Aphrodite, but she was equally smitten by the lovely Adonis. He killed Adonis by taking the appearance of a boar, but he never transformed into a ram. This is one of Ares’ most well-known stories. Many of his stories are very similar to the stories of Mars from Roman mythology. Many people believe they are the same god.
Aries has been associated with rams from late Babylonian times, though it came to symbolise the ram whose fleece became the Golden Fleece of Greek mythology. Aries’ stars had already created a farmhand. The stars of Aries have been combined into many constellations by various cultures, including twin inspectors in China and a porpoise in the Marshall Islands. Hamal (Alpha Arietis, second magnitude), Sheratan (Beta Arietis, third magnitude), Mesarthim (Gamma Arietis, fourth magnitude), and 41 Arietis are the only bright stars in the constellation Aries (also fourth magnitude). The constellation’s few deep-sky objects are dim and contain many pairs of interacting galaxies. The midday Arietids and the Epsilon Arietids are two meteor showers that appear to radiate from Aries.

Zeus
Red, White, and Blue: The sky is the ruler of the gods’ domain, and he has a keen sense of fate. His weapon, though, is the thunderbolt, and he is ruled by his passions, particularly when it comes to love. Zeus is also an arbiter of justice in later myths, keeping an eye on everyone.
Dionysus
Dionysus is a fertility god and the god of wine, and his colors are black, red, and green. In the same way that Baldr dies and is reborn, he is the Greek equivalent of Baldr. In several accounts, he is slain multiple times yet always comes back to life. His drunken followers, the maenads, wreak havoc on the earth, tearing people apart and eating them raw.
Demeter
Demeter, like Dionysus, is the goddess of both life and death. Demeter lets the plants die during the months that her daughter Persephone is with Persephone’s husband Hades in the Underworld each year. Demeter brings the plants back to life when Persephone returns in the spring.
Who was responsible for Ares’ death?
Kratos, on the other hand, spotted the Blade of the Gods (sent by Athena), dodged Ares’ strike, picked up the blade, and fought him with it. Ares pled for his life, reminding Kratos of the day he had saved his life and how all he had done was try to turn him into a great warrior. Before impaling him through the chest and killing him, Kratos ironically recanted that Ares had “successfully” done so. The God of War vanished into the Aegean Sea, having died at the hands of the mortal he ruled over many years before. Ares let out a loud death yell just before his final breath, causing blood to gush from his chest and a huge explosion. Kratos, on the other hand, after killing Ares, the man who forced him to murder his family, implored Athena to banish the nightmares from his past. Even if he had been absolved of his misdeeds, Athena said, neither the Gods nor any mortal could ever erase his memory of murdering his family. Kratos knew that his nightmare visions of his past sins would never go away, so he attempted suicide by jumping from Suicide Bluffs. Kratos was spared by Athena, who said that the Gods couldn’t let him die by his own hand because he had done so much good for them. Ares’ tactics and techniques were terrible, Athena said, and while the Olympians mourned their brother, Ares’ path of devastation had to be halted. With Ares’ death, Olympus was left with an open slot for a new God of War: Kratos. Kratos then ascended to Olympus and was given the crown, throne, and title of the new God of War, which meant that the peace of Ares’ death was broken, and that any wars, good or evil, would be sought out by Kratos, the new; all-powerful; and immortal God of War, who would grant permission.
With the exception of a few ardent Ares fans, the Spartan citizens readily abandoned Ares and celebrated Kratos, even removing all effigies of Ares and replacing them with those of Kratos when Kratos defeated and killed Ares and became the new God of War. A few devout Disciples of Ares attempted to restore their fallen God of War using the power of the Ambrosia (a power that could resuscitate even a God), but Kratos had devastated Gyges, the island where the Ambrosia sat, to prevent the followers of Ares’ intentions from coming to fruition.
Zeus belongs to which zodiac sign?
Zeus, often known as the King of the Gods, is the god of the sky and thunder. As the keeper of oaths, some think he exposed liars. Given that Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of truth and abundance, you can’t get much more Sagittarius than that. The arrow of Zeus is the archer of Sagittarius. Jupiter is also the planet of expansion, thus whatever it comes into contact with grows in size. It’s only natural that the deity of Sagittarius would be the most powerful of them all.
