The sole other sighting came from a police officer who claimed he saw Zodiac walking away from the crime site that night. In the dark, the interaction lasted seconds, and the man could easily have been a random passerby, and the police never drew his own sketch. He was shown the sketch by the teenagers and provided some input.
Not to mention that, even under ideal conditions, sketches drawn from memory aren’t always accurate.
