What House Year Am I In Astrology

To use this astrological timing technique, you must know your birth time and Ascendant Sign (or Rising Sign).

Let’s first clarify what Annual Profections are before attempting to calculate our own.

The basic answer is that your unique horoscope or birth chart assigns you a planet that becomes more energized with each passing year.

The planet that is your annual ruler is known as the ‘Time Lord,’ or the Lord of the Year, similar to the Lord of the Dance if you recall the jig!

If Venus is your ‘Year Lord,’ you may find that a Venus Retrograde, with a transit to your own Venus or a Libra House, draws you into the activity. Alternatively, during a Mercury year, you may feel particularly linked to Mercury Retrograde.

How To Work Out Annual Profections In Your Birth Chart

Step 2: Determine your current year based on your age and the planet you are most sensitive to this year (i.e. Mars). You may also look back and forth in time!

Step 3: Investigate that planet in your horoscope to learn more about your personal relationship with it and how it is influencing you this year…

Step 4: Throughout the year, from one birthday to the eve of the next, mark out the transits of the planet (i.e. Mars) and take note of what that planet is doing (both as it moves around the Zodiac and as it touches your own chart).

Here’s an easy way to figure out what year you’re in by house:

Find your age by number, then look for the house it belongs to on the inner wheel…

Your years unfold as you move across the horoscope’s houses (one through twelve), with the eleventh house representing your eleventh year.

You start over at 13 years old, 25, 37, and so on because there are twelve households.

Another way to look at it is as follows:

  • The First House of Perfection Year, from birth to the eve of your first birthday, 12, 24, 36, 48, and so on.
  • Profection in the Second House Year, beginning with your first birthday and ending with your second birthday, 13, 25, 37, and so on.
  • Year of the Third House, age 2, 14, 26, 38, etc.
  • Year of the Fourth House, age 3, 15, 27, 39, 51…
  • Year of the Fifth House, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet 16, sweet
  • Year of the Sixth House, ages 5, 17, and 29,
  • At the age of six, you are in the seventh house of perfection.
  • At the age of seven, he is in his eighth year of house perfection.
  • Year of Profection in the Ninth House, at the age of eight.
  • At the age of nine, you are in the tenth house of perfection.
  • Profection in the Eleventh House Year, age 10, age 22, age 34, age 46, and so forth.
  • Year of the Twelfth House, age 11, age 23, age 34, age 47, etc.

The most crucial thing to know is your ascendant sign, also known as your rising sign, which indicates your first year. Now, let’s get started with a little guide to your house rulers…

Remember, as you start a new Profection Year, each birthday grants you the opportunity to work with a new planet…

How do you figure out what year you’re in?

In fact, it is derived from the profections approach. The most basic version ties your age to the various houses in your astrology chart.

A 1st House year is defined as any age that is a multiple of 12. So you’ll be 12 years old, 36 years old, 48 years old, 60 years old, 72 years old, and so on.

Every year following that is a 2nd house year, which begins when you turn one, thirteen, twenty-five, thirty-seven, fifty-nine, sixty-three, seventy-three, and so on.

You can plan your life experience using the topics and themes of each of the 12 homes once you know which house corresponds to your present age. Career will be highlighted if you are born in a 10th house profected year. Rest, retreat, conclusion, and finish are important in a 12th house profected year.

Because there are only 12 houses, you return to the same topics every 12 years, but with new insight and experience, and perhaps better or at least different conditions.

Another thing that profections will do is make a planet the ruler or ‘lord’ of the coming year. This is referred to as a time lord. The traditional ruling planet of the sign on the profected house cusp will be this planet.

The ruling planet of the year becomes your Lord of the Year. Mercury is the Lord of Your Year if Gemini is in your profected home. Is that a Scorpio? Then Mars is your Year’s Lord.

For better or worse, this planet becomes a guiding force for the coming year.

‘If Mars is your time lord, you won’t experience a Martial event every second of every day, but he will build a theme that will be especially active during his reign.’ Traditional Astrology for Today, by Benjamin Dykes

Check your natal chart for the locations and themes of your profected home. For example, everyone reaching 30 or 42 will be in a 7th house year, but each person’s 7th house will be ruled by a different sign, and their cusp will be ruled by a different planet.

If Mars is in your 7th House, your Mars themes for that year are establishing or managing assertiveness in partnerships, coping with a little friction, the impact other people have on your decision-making process, and so on.

Your profected house gives you the opportunity to go deeper into the issues of each house and their related planet effects because this is an activation of an existing birth chart or natal theme.

Consider the various themes, experiences, and requirements of someone with Venus or the Moon in their 7th House. It’ll still be relationship territory when they enter a 7th House year, but the planet themes that go with it will be different. They then tailor the rest of the year to you.

I have a LOT of planets in my 1st House, which contributed to my 36th year being so busy, full, and thrilling. We acquired a new house, sold our previous one, traveled extensively (6 weeks in Australia! ), organized renovations, sent one child off to college, and welcomed another into our household full-time.

I have no planets in the 2nd House, so I’m looking forward to things settling down and achieving my financial and economic goals.

What year did I move into my first house?

In chronological order, the 12 homes correspond to your age. Your first year of life, when you are technically 0 years old, is represented by the 1st House. You move into the 2nd House when you turn one. Each year on your birthday, your age progresses from one home to the next. This indicates that you will return to the 1st House every time your birthday age is a multiple of 12. Every 12 years, you go back to the house and discuss subjects from the previous 12 years. You can expand on those themes and areas of life as you gain experience, knowledge, and maturity.

To see which house and themes are highlighted for you this year, look for your age in the right-hand column of the table (direction below).

When you turn 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, or 84, you may want to organize an extra spectacular celebration. Even though those ages appear arbitrary and have nothing to do with the culturally significant decade birthdays of 30, 40, 50, or 60, they are astrologically significant because they emphasize your unique personality. It’s 1st House year, and the 1st House is all about you. It’s your chart’s most personal and “you-focused” section. These years will be ideal for pursuing own interests, hobbies, and passions. At such ages, you may prioritize yourself more, especially if you are used to doing a lot for others.

How can I figure out which astrological house I’m in?

Every zodiac chart is divided into 12 signs, and each of those signs is divided into 12 houses. Every planet in your chart is positioned in both a sign and a house, and each house represents a different area of life, from travel and romance to career. These two configurations show how a planet’s impact might manifest in your life.

It’s a lot to take in, which is why astrologer Chani Nicholas, author of You Were Born For This: The Astrology of Radical Self-Acceptance, recommends seeing the astrological mix of planets, signs, and houses as a theater production. “The planets are the characters, the signs are the costumes they’re wearing, and the homes represent the stages, or areas of life,” she explains. “Planets display their vitality in the style of the sign they are in, and they stand out in whatever realm of life, or house, they are in.”

While you may utilize diagrams like the one above to find the sign and house placements for each planet in your chart, it might be intimidating. Finding out which house your sun sign belongs to is an excellent place to start. Simply enter your birth time, place, and location into an online natal chart generator, such as this one, and scroll down to the textual description of your solar sign. You’ll find out what house it’s in there.

“The house in which the sun is located in your horoscope indicates a significant area of life in which you must express yourself and live out your primary life goal.” Astrologer Chani Nicholas

“The sun is a vital aspect of our life’s mission because it represents our essential selves,” Nicholas explains. “The house in which the sun is located in your horoscope indicates a significant area of life in which you must express yourself and live out your primary life goal.” , if your sun is in Virgo and you are in your tenth year

What is the formula for calculating my annual Profection?

Annual Profections is an old Hellenistic Astrology way of determining a theme or area of emphasis for you and a major Planet based on your Natal Chart for the coming year.

This will be a 1st House Profection Year for your first year following birth, based on the entire sign House system, commencing with the Rising Sign in the 1st House. Then you’ll go into a 2nd House Profection Year in your second year, and so on. You will return to the same House Profection every twelve years.

The House that is activated for you for the year will be in a given Zodiac Sign, and the Planetary ruler of that Sign, known as the Time Lord, will be particularly relevant for you for that period, based on your own personal Natal Chart.

You can use time-lord techniques to figure out which planets in a Natal Chart are activated during a specific time period. The activated planet is known as the Lord of a particular time period, and its transits will be more important to you.

Annual Profections is a means to see what will be a focus for you for that birthday year, similar to where eclipses happen in your horoscope. It’s sometimes used in conjunction with a solar return chart on your actual birthday to predict what the future year will hold for you.

Read on for a Profections wheel, where you may automatically compute yours, and what it means for the different Houses to be activated:

What is your ascension?

The majority of us are aware of our own and our friends’ star signs, also known as sun signs. Isn’t it how we all make passive aggressive judgments while bigging ourselves up on Instagram with zodiac memes? Our moon signs are also known to us. But did you know you have a RISING SIGN that’s just as important?

The planetary influence that was rising, i.e. on the Eastern horizon, when you were born is your rising sign. It usually reflects how others perceive you in real life and can predict your gut reactions to situations. It is, however, yet another potential personality flaw to consider.

Because of its connection to the rising sun, your rising sign is also known as your ascendant, and many people associate it with your social nature, it’s possible that if someone is guessing your sign, they will get your rising sign before your sun sign! It’s how other people perceive you, which is something you’ll never have. This makes it a fascinating aspect of your birth chart to investigate: discovering who you are in the eyes of others.

What’s in the 7th house of my horoscope?

The 7th house, ruled by Libra, is concerned with relationships and how we conduct ourselves in them.

It is traditionally known as the house of marriage, but it governs all of our connections, including lovers, business partners, and even enemies.

“Unlike the 5th house, where sex, pleasure, and what we seek in another person reside, the 7th house is recognized as the house of marriage and committed or contractual partnering,” says astrologer Corina Crysler.

“It can also reveal what we require in our relationships, as well as the patterns we continue to have.”

What does the 12th house in astrology mean?

The Twelfth House is located just beneath the horizon in the sky: it is literally the darkness before dawn. Similarly, the Twelfth House rules all things that exist without physical forms, such as dreams, secrets, and emotions, and is known as the “unseen realm.” Those with planets in the Twelfth House are frequently intuitive, if not psychic. When planets transit the Twelfth House, we bring karmic people into our lives, but we must also understand that not all partnerships are destined to last. Pisces energy is associated with this House.

What was the name of your first home?

What it means: Your first house, often called as the “ascendant,” marks the start of our journey through the astrological houses. It affects our self-image, sense of self, and the picture we portray to others, and it reflects “you” in the simplest terms. It has complete control over our physical appearance. The first house (appropriately) deals with “firsts” and fresh beginnings, such as the first impression you make or how you take initiative and start new projects. Also, if you know your rising sign, you’ll know when your first house is in, because the rising sign is simply another phrase for the first house’s cusp. If you have planets in your first house, they are likely to have a substantial impact on your life and personality.
