Is the retrograde planet powerful?
What does it signify when the planets are moving backwards? In layman’s terms, when planets are retrograde, they are closest to Earth during that time. As a result, whenever a planet appears to be moving backwards, it transits close to Earth.
When seen from Earth, retrograde planets appear to stop and move backward for a period of time. Planets, in fact, never come to a halt or travel backward. That is unthinkable. They appear to be travelling backward because we, on Earth, pass past the planet, which causes retrograde planets to appear to be moving backward. When you try to overtake another vehicle on the highway, you’ll see that they appear to slow down and fall back, even if they’re moving forward. Planetary retrogression is a comparable effect. The only distinction is that planets follow a circular path, whereas cars follow a linear one in our case.

Chesta Bala is one of the six strengths that make up the overall Shadbala score on the planet, according to the Shadbala scale. Chesta here refers to the force that is required for the planet’s movement. In other words, this calculated strength determines how much physical effort the planet expends, which raises the potency of its astrological impacts.
As a result, whenever a planet goes retrograde, it requires more work or force to maintain traveling, resulting in Chesta Bala.
When a planet is retrograde in your natal chart, what should you do?
Planets and bodies can appear to travel backwards in the sky for a period of time, and are termed to be retrograde. “Appears” is the essential word here, because no planet moves backwards in its orbit around the Sun officially. They don’t even seem to slow down. Because the Earth orbits the Sun at a different pace than the other planets, retrograde-station-direct cycles are essentially illusions that arise from our point of view on Earth.
Mercury travels backwards more regularly than any other planet, but outer planets travel backwards more frequently than Mercury. Mercury can never be more than 28 degrees from the Sun, and it reverses direction when it reaches its farthest distance from the Sun. Approximately 7-10% of the time, Venus and Mars are retrograde. For vast parts of the year, Jupiter and Pluto are retrograde.
The energies of a planet or body in the birth chart are turned inward when it is retrograde. They’re typically sensed more powerfully, yet the native keeps something about the planet’s energies secret or covert. When expressing the planet’s energy directly or overtly, there may be shyness, embarrassment, or awkwardness.
In early life, there may be denial, something deficient, or something missing, as well as delays caused by the retrograde planet’s energies. Perhaps there was a lack of discipline or structure, or possibly an authority figure in the native’s youth, and as a result, the native feels awkward in a scenario that requires certain rules or etiquette. Mercury Retrograde

Venus Retrograde
Because Venus is retrograde around 7-8 percent of the time, about 7-8 percent of people are born while Venus is retrograde.
The feeling nature is deep when Venus is retrograde at birth. Socializing is a crucial matter that is rarely treated lightly. In their youth, they may be shy due to a discomfort with small chat and social graces, as well as a dislike to superficialities. Love is very essential to a person with a retrograde Venus, yet they may not express themselves well enough for others to understand how deeply they can love. This individual is always more than meets the eye. Their love lives (and, in certain cases, their money lives) can be kept disguised in some way. There are often detours to take in order to achieve your goals. Nature’s desire is strong, but it is sometimes misunderstood by people. It’s possible that your timing is off, or that you express your desires (or anger) in spurts rather than more fluidly, in which case you hold these feelings to yourself and let them develop until they explode. You might come on too strong at times and not strong enough at others, and you’ll often think of a better thing to say or do afterwards, when you’re not under pressure.
