One of the most basic elements to consider when launching a business (or a large endeavor) is that it’s actually rather simple to perform and doesn’t necessitate a lot of astrological knowledge or expertise. This entails paying attention to the phases of the moon. At first glance, attuning oneself to nature by watching lunar cycles and applying these cycles to the realm of business may appear to be a strange combination. However, an increasing number of people are seeking assistance from intuitive arts. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that time is crucial. While applying rationality to commercial operations is essential, certain situations appear to be more “magical” than others.
The first and most basic factor is to start a business during the waxing phase of the Moon, that is, from the New Moon to the Full Moon, when the Moon is increasing in light. This isn’t to argue that starting a business when the Moon is declining is guaranteed to fail. Those firms that begin when the Moon’s light is increasing, on the other hand, have a better chance of lasting success, assuming all other factors are equal. The conception should not take place too near to the New Moon, the First Quarter Moon, or the Full Moon. When the Moon forms a sextile to the Sun or a trine to the Sun, it is ideal for it to begin. The applying sextile happens approximately 5 days after the New Moon, whereas the applying trine occurs approximately 10 days after the New Moon.
The Moon’s applying aspects and void periods are the following considerations. This is, without a doubt, more technical. Moon phases when the Moon is void of course should be avoided. Tables for these time periods can be found here. The Moon’s trines and/or sextiles to Jupiter, Saturn, and/or Venus are quite beneficial. It’s best to avoid applying squares or oppositions to Mars and/or Saturn.
With the Moon sextile or trine Saturn, projects and enterprises are generally well-conceived, respectable, and dependable, but not particularly “choose me kinds” or flamboyant. When the Moon trines Mercury, the business’s mind and heart are in sync.
Remember that the Moon is the business’s heart in certain aspects, but it also governs the business’s or project’s publicity and how well it is received and supported.
The Moon’s sign position isn’t as as crucial, but it can be taken into account. For longevity, it’s best if it’s in an earth sign (Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn). Taurus is the most fertile of the three signs.
We can assess the status of the other planets after we are satisfied the Moon has been “fortified.” The planet that governs the industry should be well-placed.
For the sake of illustration, we’ll use January 2006 as an example and apply some of these guidelines. Assume that the company we’re launching is a metaphysical website. Uranus should be considered while starting an internet business, especially one that is “alternative.” We don’t want Uranus to be too strong because it delivers inconsistent results, but we do want it to form simple aspects. Neptune, the god of many healing techniques, should be respected as well. This is another outer planet that shouldn’t be overpowered, as it is also the ruler of chaos and confusion.
One of the “givens” (a factor that you want to be certain about) that is also broad enough to rule out numerous dates is the ideal place to start. This will be the Moon’s waxing phase, as well as any New or First Quarter Moon day.
We can quickly rule out the following dates in January 2006:
We’ve greyed out the days of the New Moon, First Quarter Moon, and all fading days (from Full Moon to New Moon) on the calendar below.
Following that, we’ll look at the first week of January:
On the 1st, the Moon is blank till 7:15 a.m. It then enters Aquarius, which is an excellent sign for the type of business. The Moon’s final applying aspect before exiting Aquarius occurs on January 3rd at 6:45 a.m., and it is a sextile to Mercury, predicting a fortunate outcome. So far, everything has gone well. The Moon, on the other hand, forms an opposition to Saturn late on the first and a square to Mars in the early hours of the second. The opposition to Jupiter is also unfavorable. If the launch occurs after the Moon’s conjunction with Neptune but before its sextile to Pluto on the 2nd, we gain from two positive aspects of the Moon before it changes signs, as well as the Sun’s still-in-orb trine to Mars. This is favorable, but not ideal, especially since Mercury will be in the last degree (a critical degree) of Sagittarius at the moment.
When the Moon is in Pisces, though, the situation is substantially better. The Moon would apply to a conjunction with Uranus, a sextile to Mars, a trine to Jupiter, a sextile to the Sun (a square to Pluto), and lastly a sextile to Venus before changing signs to Aries on the 5th if we timed the launch for the afternoon of the 3rd. The Sun would be sextile to Jupiter, which is a favorable aspect for any company. Mercury’s semi-square to Neptune, on the other hand, is not ideal. Nonetheless, this is the most recent date we’ve been able to locate.
We want to avoid the Moon making a square to the Sun at all costs, so we’ll consider the next period of time while the Moon is in Taurus, one of the finest Moon signs for starting a new business.
We’ll want to avoid starting anything until the 8th since the Moon squares Saturn, conjuncts Mars, opposes Jupiter, and squares Neptune. If we look at the time after the square to Neptune, it will be around 8 p.m. on the 8th. Before changing signs to Gemini, the Moon will apply to a trine to the Sun, which is great, and a trine to Venus as its final applying aspect. Mercury will be sextile Uranus, which is ideal for the type of company we do, but it will be quincunx Saturn, which is less than ideal. Even so, now is an excellent time.
The Moon’s final applicable aspect in Gemini before switching signs is an opposition to Plutono good. Let’s go to the Moon in Cancer for a moment. We may also rule this one out because the Moon’s last applicable aspect in Cancer is an opposition to the Sun on the Full Moon on the 14th. The rest of this week may be safely ruled out.
The last two days of January that we didn’t rule out before aren’t shown here, but suffice to say that the first date is too near to the New Moon, and the Moon’s last applicable aspect is a square to Pluto. Again, this is not good.
We now have two dates and times to choose from: one while the Moon was in Pisces, and the other when the Moon was in Taurus. An astrologer would then proceed to experiment with charts for these periods of time, placing the planets as close to the houses and angles as possible.
An important note: In actuality, Venus is retrograde for the full month of January 2006. As a result, it is better to avoid establishing a large business for the entire month! The preceding example demonstrates the general method of selecting a start-up date for a business. In February 2006, when Venus is direct, we’ll take a closer look.
With February 2006, we’ll use the same method to grey out the New Moon, First Quarter Moon, and all days of the waning Moon (Full Moon to New Moon):
Let’s leave out the days while Venus is still retrograde and stationing this time. This leaves us with the 6th to the 11th, which is a really narrow window!
The 5th has already been ruled out because it is the day of the First Quarter Moon. On the day of our company’s launch, we don’t want the Moon to align with the Sun. On the 6th, we have an exact conjunction of the Sun and Neptune, as well as an exact square of the Sun and Jupiter! We enjoy Mercury’s sextile to Pluto, but the Sun’s difficult aspects aren’t in our favor. The Moon’s trine to the Sun is typically favorable, but it can be problematic if it happens too close to the Sun’s exact hard aspects. Let’s go on to the next section. Mercury is changing signs on the 8th. It’s an anaretic degree when a planet is in the final degree of a sign. Again, this is something we want to avoid.
The 9th appears to be a little more promising. The Moon’s opposition to Venus at 8:40 PM isn’t particularly appealing, but its trine to Jupiter at 11:01 PM appears to be hopeful. We would have a chart with the Moon applying aspects of a trine to Jupiter and a sextile to Mars as the penultimate aspect before the Moon changes signs the next day if we timed a launch between these two hours, ideally closer to 11:00 PM. The Moon would be in the sign of Cancer, which it controls. We’ll have to stop right now because our next alternatives include the Moon’s conjunction with Saturn and then an opposition to Neptune and the Sun the next day. We’ve figured out the optimum day and time of the month, and there aren’t many options.
When we take a closer look at February 9th about 10 p.m., we can identify some positive aspects: Venus is forming a sextile with Jupiter, and the two bodies are also parallel. Neptune and Pluto are also parallel to Venus and Jupiter. These are fantastic circumstances. Despite their separation, the Sun is still conjunct Neptune and square Jupiter. The Sun is making an aspect to Mars. We have some particularly fortunate circumstances here, but it’s a mixed bag. A mixed bag isn’t so bad. The Sun’s square to Mars, for example, may be interpreted as ambition and determination. We constantly need some difficult aspects to give our project more oomph. However, because the Moon is inconjunct the Sun, choosing a moment when either of the lights is trine the Ascendant or Midheaven is difficult. This is because the Moon will square the Ascendant if the Sun is in the fifth house in trine to the Ascendant (about 10 p.m.).
Due to Mercury’s three-week retrograde plus a lunar and solar eclipse, March is a bad month for starting dates.

Which planet is in charge of commerce?
DVB: Throughout my two-decade professional career, I’ve seen a lot of people go after poor company ideas and wash their hands of all they own. Preferable business may not always be good, and new business concepts may not fit everyone equally. Some people may succeed in one business but fail miserably in others. You notice a “A well-known business house has lost ground in a product and brand that was established a few decades ago (fabric, to give you an idea), but has outperformed practically everyone else globally in other companies, including many new start-ups. It is not necessary to base all of your business decisions solely on your horoscope or what astrologers or planets have to say about your business success. However, before settling on the best or new company ideas, it is a good idea to consult with a skilled business astrologer to see whether that business is right for you “The stars in your horoscope are also on your side.
An professional astrologer would advise the person to engage in the most appropriate business in terms of nature, timing, and with whom and for how long. There are twelve houses in the horoscope of a native, and four of them impact business yoga for business success, thus an astrologer must have extensive knowledge reading the intrinsic value of all of these houses.
DVB: If a business astrologer can tell you the time, type, who to do business with, and the duration of the business, he or she may also tell you about fresh start-ups. One thing to keep in mind is that each business will not suit everyone equally; some will fail while others will thrive in the same industry. Take, for example, a well-known corporate house (the Mallya Group), which has suffered significant losses in the airline business while two other private organizations have soared to new heights in the same industry. All three started the same firm as a new start-up, so why have only two prospered while the third has plummeted to the depths of the earth? Rather, they have lost everything they have worked for up to that point in their lives.
I am confident that if any new business venture is thoroughly vetted by an experienced astrologer, there will be some ups and downs, but no disasters. The ploy of planetary movement in the horoscope is all that is used to determine one’s business potential. Whether the native is starting a new business or looking to expand an existing one, an experienced astrologer will have no trouble analyzing his or her charts to determine the native’s exact chances. Before offering a remedy or guidance, an experienced astrologer should examine the native’s horoscope’s D-12 and D-60 (Dwadasmansha and Shastiamsha).
Yes, why not? DVB: The native’s horoscope contains some unusual combinations that provide light on yoga’s real estate success. The business is completely the responsibility of Mars, the red planet. If the planet has a beneficial influence on the 10th house and its Lord, the native has yoga for a real estate business. The combination should be investigated further in the Dashmansha (D-10) chart, and then in the Shashtiamsha (D-60) chart. It can be assumed that a person has yoga for the real estate business if these two charts contain the same combinations of yogas. However, the native must first have a major business and wealth yoga before examining this. First, look for a business yoga, then check to see if Mars is influencing it, and finally, check to see if this yoga is present in D-10 and D-60 charts. One thing to keep in mind is to assess the ascendant’s and Lord’s power. The most important factor in real estate success is the person’s intention. Many top-level real estate businesspeople are in serious danger, yet many small-time real estate businesspeople are making steady development. In this case, Rahu’s extreme negative effect can cause a real estate business to collapse in the long run, placing a person in danger.
Mercury and Jupiter are the planets that are important for stock market performance. If these two planets are in good alignment in a person’s horoscope, he or she has a decent chance of succeeding in the stock market. Aside from that, the fifth and eighth houses should be powerful enough to promote stock market success. These establishments are linked to gambling or quick money. The native’s potential to gain without working is assessed in the eighth house. If he or she wants to succeed in the stock market, the eighth and fifth houses in his or her birth chart must be powerful. At the same time, the native should make sure the 12th house, or the house of loss, isn’t activated. If the 12th house has been activated, he or she will lose riches, even if the fifth and eighth houses have a favorable combination.
